Blinding
Blinding is a overpowered. Everyone uses xmas flaming swords now because the decider in a spar is often times who can blind the other first.
The problem is that it lasts too long. Instead of it acting like poison (i.e. you get it and it stays for several minutes), the blinding rate should be increased and when you get it, you are blinded for a couple seconds right as you are slashed, and then you can see again. You could then be reblinded immediately if you happened to get hit again. So, if someone is using an xmas flaming sword (or another weapon with blinding), there's a 25% chance that when they hit you, you can't see for 1-2 seconds. This could be even more deadly in some circumstances, since you're near the other player when you go blind. Right now you can pretty much just run in circles when your screen goes black to avoid the enemy since you have some warning. There are other (possibly better) ways it could be fixed, so I'd like to hear other ideas as well. |

Maloria did it right with blind in v2, blind for like 5-7 seconds and you could still see a little circle around you then blind goes away.

I agree, i also said it from day one blinding is was to overpowered and beyond that really annoying, when people's screen goes black they also just run (who can blame them) which makes battles take even longer lol.
edit: regarding poison if it was to be changed it needs to be thought about, it does address the problem of fights going on forever - i'm okay with how it is besides when it randomly removes like 5 - 10 strength form someone i'd much rather see a fixed amount lost like 2 str and 2 dex and keep the poison damage same as it is! |
make poison reduce health regen (or cancel out health regen) and a fixed speed reduction of -5 or -10 since its so ****ing easy now to overcap str and dex to be basically immune to poison

Poison should do damage slowly, but not interrupt spells. I think a weak poison doing 1 damage every half of a second for a minute would be pretty intense, a strong poison doing 3-4 damage (per .50 seconds) for 40 seconds.
and a minus of speed, rather than stats, would be cool. |

I stack 36 dex but the idea of it all is dumb. I'd rather have 30 dex 22 con 22 str knowing my stats wouldn't deteriorate.
