As I said in game, Debug is down right now, so there's nothing the staff (including Tig) can do. Stefan needs to fix something that only he can fix, so we're stuck until he does that. The problem's been around for months now and he hasn't fixed it yet, so I'm not too optimistic.

Sounds like an easy way out.
Also whatever you massed in game should probably be posted officially in the GK section of the forums. Since this is a problem that needs to be adressed as well as reaching out to every member of the community instead of just the 20~ people online at the time.

Maybe, but regardless of how it sounds there's no way I can work on Halloween or anything right now. I'd suggest contacting Stefan directly if you're upset about the lack of updates since that's the only course of action that's likely to help. Tig and I can only bug Stefan so much about it.

We have confirmation that incompetence led to the Halloween failure this year. I applaud you Kale for being a man and stepping up and saying it just wasn't ready.

The server itself is up but the NPC-server isn't. Majin or anybody else who doubts this is welcome to contact Tig or Stefan directly, or someone like Felix, Nathaniel, Alarid, or any of the PWA who can login to the server and see for themselves that it does not work.

The one player online is Stephen. There is no NPC-server online. Attempts to start it fail.

Kale wasn't involved in the development; he can't script, make levels, or make graphics. Voltry did do a ton of work and we are still planning on using it. We have several pages worth of plans which we still intend to follow if Debug is fixed in the near future. If not we'll adapt them for some other event.

I don't know why you're acting like I've denied that it's not ready; see the posts I made in the other thread and the mass I sent out on Friday. My plan was to finish it over the weekend since I don't have any schoolwork to do. The event hasn't been cancelled as Felix fallaciously claimed, it's just been delayed since there is no way for me to work on it right now.

You can claim we overhyped it, but I'm not going to apologize to any of you because you want me to prioritize an online game with an average playercount of 10 over my own life.

It's not his job to script, develop, or make levels. It may be a bonus, but in reality an EMA's job is to handle Event Masters so that the developers don't have to. An EMA who is also a developer is just going to be bogged down dealing with people instead of creating new content.

I've seen this a lot, and it's disappointing seeing it coming from you. People are quick to claim that staff members aren't competent, but can seldom provide qualified replacements for those staff members who would do the job better. There's not exactly a line of quality developers just waiting for a chance to give their time to an ungrateful community, even on more popular servers like Era.

You tried to kill the NPC-Server and start it?
Else just get someone to restart the whole GServer. Maybe its enough.

Late reply, as I was out of town for five days, but I can personally confirm what Chris says. The NPC-Server IS shut down by Stefan due to there being some issues with it. I'm not sure why you guys are doubting what Chris says in the first place, I see no reason for him to lie about something like this.

Yeah, how sad end for Zone... i used to play it a lot, when it was cool... it was my first Graal game...

But back to the point. As i understand it, Stefan haven't work on fixing the NPC because he doesn't give a damn about it, not a damn about us and Graal Kingdoms, or at least that's what i heard from a good source... and that source may be reading right now.

Well, that's what i heard, to be honest that's not what i think, i wrote CLEARLY, that was what i understood from what i was told.
