Tablet Compatibility
 

Hey all,

I just got this Windows 7 tablet, and I was wondering a few things.
Are there any servers with tablet options? I remember seeing something on Legend about it...
Are there any people that would like a tablet system on their servers?
And, Graal owner people, obviously tablets are getting more and more common, so do you plan more tablet compatibility?

And, it does work, but I mean touchscreen arrows and stuff like on iPhone, instead of using the iffy onscreen keyboard.

I believe youre the first to use that, and for just 1 user, I believe it's not ripe enough to implement something like this... play the iphone versions?...

make a "graal" facebook account and play graal facebook? i dunno =[

Attach a USB/Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse. Otherwise, no.

I've used a Tablet PC before while playing, but the keyboard doesn't always have to be used on-screen. It's like a laptop with a flip-screen tablet.

And I already play iPhone.
I was planning to get a keyboard for it anyway, but it was worth seeing if there were any servers that would fit the criteria, if that makes sense. You know what I mean anyway.

I don't think there's any server at all who will waste time on adding tablet support.

You mean the UC servers who are under some illusion that they are capable of creating an iPhone server and then have Stefan release it? Yeaaaah, no.

Mostly I suppose it depends on the type of touchscreen, whether it supports multi-point input and how easy it is for Stefan to add multi-point support for Graal in Windows. On Android and iPhone it is quite simple, but these are running software that is designed for touch environments, whereas Windows 7 is not as touch-friendly.

However, assuming the above is possible with your device, the standard iPhone/iPad/Android virtual keys would work just fine. They are written in GScript and simulate keyboard events, and would work with v6 on Windows also.

I will implement tablet functions once graphene technology is built out!

Most new stuff is working fine for tablets (iPad), including my version of the online level editor. For PC Graal is currently not detecting if the system is supporting touch input, can add that sometime.
