Got a cool idea for a Halloween hat or a mask? Show it off!

You are invited to join in a fun competition of creativity!

Objective:
Create an original Halloween hat and win prizes! Some ideas are a pumpkin head, ghost hat, an axe stuck on the top of the head, etc! Furthermore, you are welcome to create an animated hat (similar to the way the armor helmet works). Have fun with it!

Deadline:
On October 20th, all hats MUST be in, as a poll will be set up and the top 3 will winners will receive prizes! Furthermore, all the decent looking hats will be available for players to purchase. If your hat is chosen to be in the store, you will receive ONE for free. The hats will be available for players to wear by October 28.

Limits:

• Participants may enter up to two hats/masks
• Hat/Mask must be of typical size as the hats you see on Era
• Be careful of copy-infringements

Assuming we get enough participants, expect something similar for other large holidays!

Thought I would give it a go. I am trying to better my GFX skills and I thought this would be a cool mini thing to do. It took five minutes, but anyway...
It is a criminal headband, like the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" wear. Just to let you know, the hat doesn't even fit the player. That's how cool I am!

What client can i use for a mac that allows me to do this

ideally use a program that supports layers, draw the hat on a new layer on top of the template, delete/hide the template layer when you're done

I would use Paint.net, works great for me.

kk thx, my hats will prob blow though xD but im willing to pay 10k each for 2 hats, so if ur good artist do ur own 2 hats then do 2 for me

Yes it doesn't have to be Halloween themed, but it must be good enough to make it into the hatshop to receive a free one

someone should go around the board and make NFL hats like the ones we already have.
somebody said i made them, but i honestly have no recollection (surprise surprise) of making any other than my bengals hat.

i know we've got some football nerds around here.

i'd make some, as long as i get them for free, if staff chose mine.
