Player of the month award
 

Starting today, Era is looking for players who give back to the community by helping other players.Every month the Era staff will be Looking for players who go out of their way to help their peers for no compensation. While these players may be okay with receiving no reward, I find it unacceptable. The selected player will receive a prize. While every good deed can't come with a reward,i hope to catch as many as possible. To be eligible for a nomination, you must not have been jailed or banned in the month you are nominated.

Well depends on the outcome also, This might turn out good by people helping other people in the Era community, or this can turn horible...

Based on how you and many others act like first graders, this may just work! Hope it worked in your class, my school was lame and never rewarded us :(

Then it should work perfectly on Era.

Good people on Era are now just people with ulterior motives. Next month people will realize the rewards for being good sucks and then become bad people.

I do like most of your ideas, but not this one. If you want people helping players why don't you just bring back FAQs or make PRs do something. Let's be honest the PR job has become extremely easy with the lending system because over 1/3 of their job is now done for them since they don't have to watch lends/trades anymore.

FAQs aren't nearly as effective as tutorials (or my lovely support center tutorial that no one reads, but covers just about everything).

Your statement regarding PRs is completely untrue. While being a PR isn't exactly the most difficult job, the PRs on Era have a lot to do. If you haven't noticed, Era's public is full of vociferous trolls and rude people. They handle a lot of harassment calls. Secondly, they record bet spars, which has become quite a big past time. Then comes in the ever-so-fun CST, USD, and scamming situations that occur almost daily on Era.

In short, PRs don't have an "extremely easy" job.

I think you guys are taking it way out of proportion. It's simply rewarding good behavior.

I do think it would be interesting to implement some sort of "Best PKer of the Month".
