I am totally aware of the coder shortage, but i also know that there is some talented coders still among us, but i am still searching for someone to come and give us a chance and finish a half decent server.

Zenkou has formed a new team with some old members and so far its a good start to a revival attempt.

We are active everyday and more and more content is being added to the server, and the rest of the content is all planned out and ready to be made, we have some quality graphical content ready to be used for the systems required, all the levels are near enough completed and being currently tile corrected and made to look right for the public.

The ideas are all here for this server and i totally respect that most coders are committed to other servers, im looking for someone who will take us up on our challenge and see if we can finish this server and create something good.

There are a couple of hand fulls of systems yet to be created, one of those systems, our main one is the battle system, which is all written down in full detail for a coder to look at, with ready made graphics, ganis and sound effects and most important of all a lot of quality coding from PFA it just need the finishing touches.

Give the basic gist of your battle system and I'll consider making an open source version.

its a Turn base battle system like FF7 u walk around and counter into random battles

slightly more involved than that.

Sorry but i cant agree to the open source code, how ever thank you very much for the offer.

I will possibly be looking to pay a coder to create us a few systems this is still an open option for me.

i gave the basics and haro said its little bit more then just that so i reply he jus wanted a basic outline of it

May I inquire as to why this is? Because I see no harm in releasing a system that might help other servers in the process of helping your server.

Except the special part of the server is up for grabs by anyone therefore taking away from zenkou if a noob team decides to take the script and use it on there server rather then treating it as a learning curb.

I'd be more active if I didn't have projects outside of Graal, but I'll try to work a bit more. Granted, most of the things I've been working on haven't really been so tangible anyway, mostly backend stuff that's not detectable until it's in use, anyway.

I don't mean to come across greedy in terms of having an open source code, as you say i feel like this would be what makes our server a little bit special, and if other servers are using the exact same system it will kind of defeat the point.

Which does, again, not cause any harm. It's not about single scripts, even if the systems are a tad bigger than others. What's important is the presentation of the playerworld as a whole.

Eh, find any server on Graal from the past four years (that isn't running on a new platform) that hasn't failed. Why not work here?

i think this is a relevent question, and a one i must answer.

only reason it failed last time was due to inactivity mainly caused by myself and a crucial case of being understaffed, we all had alot of stuff in real life to be getting on with.

But we all feel we have the spare time again so we are giving it another go, we are progressing nicely.

i dont find your comment offensive what so ever i think with our server this is the main topic for conversation, i had already commented on this however in another thread but i hope this answers your question.

I got you man! I fixed my desktop already as I spoken to you about it not too long ago. It turns out that I had to replace the lithium battery on my motherboard... It's a good thing I did it all by myself otherwise I would have been wasting hundreds of dollars for someone or a company to repair it by simply replacing something dead as I have done. Anyways enough rambling, I'll be back on in a matter of seconds. I already spoken to KB and he said he will add me whenever I am ready.
