Warp Ring Released

The warp ring has been released as part of a side-quest located within the new cave at the back of the ninja encampment.
This can be played by anyone that has completed the ninja trial in order to obtain a shield, which is also now being suggested by the teacher.

As mentioned within a previous thread the warp ring will allow you to warp to a single set location. This is in the form of warp statues (possible we may implement a different image later however), the first one being located within the tree cavern to the right of Master Li's. The intention here was to tackle the issue brought up previously regarding travel time between different tasks.

The warp ring itself requires you to hold the weapon key down for 0.5 seconds in order to prevent the possibility of warping after pressing it accidentally. You'll be engulfed in smoke while the warp takes place.

Another notable feature regarding projectiles is that when shot by baddies they too will pause whenever the player is paused.

This quest is admittedly fairly short and simple, it must be noted that it has been implemented to the end of an earlier time period of the game, plus a lot of systematic work has gone into it that will serve well going forward.

Does it get cancelled if you're warping and you get hit?

Yes, or it would also be cancelled if you slashed or changed gani in any way.

unstick me was always the most popular running method anyways.

This is a pretty decent update, has a great little cave quest were its not too hard to pass by just applying a little logic, also using unstick me to run? Are you trying to say it didn't use to be 30 seconds of no movement before being able to unstick?

It is possible to prevent this actually.

Though I guess it'd kind of suck if you're stuck on a wall somewhere and some guy is laming you while you're unable to pause and unstick away. But this is an edge case.

ffcmike 06-01-2011 10:15 AM

It should be noted that Unstick Me is taking only 10 seconds of no movement now.

Im loving everything about this, I wish i knew more about Gs2 to lend a hand.

This server has such great potential. And so far its really cool, and coming from an oldschool classic(er), it still gives me that Graal Classic feel. rly looking forward to watching this blossom.
