Era iPhone - St Patricks Release
1 Attachment(s)
Added a few small things for St Patricks day
|
Still not as good as a pi boomerang :(.
|
I can't wait until you release a sticky, it would be ever so convenient for someone interested learning about all the Era iPhone updates.
|
rug*?
|
who cares
|
you do know i will keep posting these updates, it doesn't effect me nor you so I don't see the problem. If you're not interested in any Era updates, don't read the thread. It's a forum
@Chris: Yeah- but can you beat the ugly face material!!!! |
No one's telling you to stop posting them, but I'm glad you proved my "andrew is about as smart as a bag of rocks" theory correct.

Honestly, the amount of wasted energy over such stupid things. Sarcastic, worthless and self-serving comments serve no purpose and do not help the greater community. |
Twinny, just shut up.
Most of the people aren't saying "stop posting these news updates", they're saying "stop making a new thread for every individual update, especially incredibly minor things like this. It would be much more efficient for everyone involved if you would put it in a single thread." Some people like to regularly read the forums. There's no reason there needs to be 3+ threads that say "Era iPhone" with one update per thread every time I decide to click "New Posts". Andrew ignoring that completely logical way to handle updates just goes to make him look immature and stubborn or stupid. |

Instead of what Pojo is suggesting in having a single thread for all updates, perhaps it would be a good idea to have up to a handful of Era iPhone threads within their own specific sub-section organised by what type of update they are, so maybe a thread for new hats, a thread for new furniture, a thread specifically for seasonal updates such as St Patricks & Valentines etc, while updating it something like once a week as opposed to each and every time something small is added, and then anything that does qualify as a major update could have its own individual thread.
This way forum users would immediately be able to recognise whether the thread may be of interest to them beforehand, but it would still maintain an organised structure rather than becoming a cluttered list where it might be hard to find what you're looking for (which can still happen by result of posting a thread every single time). |

Granted that doesn't help me, but the larger part of me suggesting a single thread isn't so I don't have to see "ERA IPHONE" all the time, but so it's easier to navigate Era iPhone updates for those interested (which the subforum would be good for too, as that would even provide a suitable place for Era iPhone conversation, allowing for the (if willing) iPhone community to connect with the PC community, without being lumped into the server somewhat similar to theirs). |
I don't know why you guys are ganging up on Pojo about this, it seems like a reasonable idea.
|
idk what happens- I post updates. I don't know why he's always crying about a game he doesn't play, sounds childish if you ask me
You not answering my question made this post that little bit easier. thanks |

It's about your posting. The only part of Graal this applies to is the forums, which I quite frequently play. |

Well done, I must say lol |

I'm pretty sure I said that in every single sentence of my last post. |

If you have problems, contact Darlene. You're not a super moderator, and if she wants me to post them in a single thread then so be it. Failing that, you can keep forum spamming. |
Lol.
Even I get what Pojo is saying. It's not about the server, or the updates. It's the manner of how you're posting about the updates. Its a constant spam of small updates. The topic isn't about updates, or the server itself. It's about you and posting like 1-2 threads a day with these updates. |
Why doesn't he just ignore my posts? lol
|
pls don't make this forum seem more active then it is andrew god what's your problem?!?!

It's more of a "OH HEY NEW THREAD oh it's just an update thread about era iphone" than what you're thinking.

It's not that he wants/doesn't to, it's that he's sick of seeing it when it only contains a few updates.

I think it would be easier to turn Era into an award winning game of than year than it would be to compile a list of ten things that don't go over your head.

lol this is really not necessary.
yes andrew can put posts all together on one thing and yes it can be made into several different threads all in all it's not really a big argument over o-o it's just a few simple clicks to look at lol |
Nice update! I also like the tiles, they are nicely set together!

I think it should be archived into either a subforum (wont happen) or the simpler choice, make a sticky on Playerworld's section (Sorry but Era iPhone doesn't affiliate with Era PC, so why post it in this section?) call it "Era iPhone - Updated: (What for/Date)".
Too bad Darlene is too busy selectively doing her voluntary work. @NYN I think this is more of a matter of a personality conflict than it is a method problem (though it still being a method problem anyway). Regardless, I agree somewhat we're being a little bit too bitter, but what else is there to read? We don't just commune to each other but we also listen for what's going on with Graal itself. I'm pretty certain if hypothetically Classic iPhone was to post in a Era iPhone thread then you would see this in a different light. |
I'd play it, if I could use the PC for it.
