Still not as good as a pi boomerang :(.

kia345 03-18-2011 01:04 AM

I can't wait until you release a sticky, it would be ever so convenient for someone interested learning about all the Era iPhone updates.

Supaman771 03-18-2011 01:05 AM

rug*?

k_killar 03-18-2011 04:24 AM

who cares

xAndrewx 03-18-2011 09:12 AM

you do know i will keep posting these updates, it doesn't effect me nor you so I don't see the problem. If you're not interested in any Era updates, don't read the thread. It's a forum

@Chris: Yeah- but can you beat the ugly face material!!!!

kia345 03-18-2011 09:39 AM

No one's telling you to stop posting them, but I'm glad you proved my "andrew is about as smart as a bag of rocks" theory correct.

and to add to that, keeping forums efficient and organized is just as important. If you put the updates in a sticky you will also gather better attention.

And this is what exactly?

Could this not easily be interpreted as, "who cares? stop posting." However this is irrelevant. He just stated his intent to keep posting regardless of people not interested in them.

Honestly, the amount of wasted energy over such stupid things. Sarcastic, worthless and self-serving comments serve no purpose and do not help the greater community.

kia345 03-18-2011 06:30 PM

Twinny, just shut up.

Most of the people aren't saying "stop posting these news updates", they're saying "stop making a new thread for every individual update, especially incredibly minor things like this. It would be much more efficient for everyone involved if you would put it in a single thread." Some people like to regularly read the forums. There's no reason there needs to be 3+ threads that say "Era iPhone" with one update per thread every time I decide to click "New Posts".

Andrew ignoring that completely logical way to handle updates just goes to make him look immature and stubborn or stupid.

You should have the capability to read the thread titles and see it says "Era Iphone". Secondly, no one gives a **** what you want. Thirdly, i suggest getting outside more (its nice out now!) if a simple post every other day is upsetting you. And lastly, all your doing is probably making SNK want to do it more and more, (I know i would!) because you and the 2-3 others who whine every time are quite the entertainment.

Thanks for the update SNK, keep them coming <3

The problem is that there are multiple Era iPhone threads with small updates. It's spamming, and it actually makes it harder to keep track of the current updates on Era iPhone.

If that were the case, no one would have responded to my posts, at the very least people care enough to tell me off ^^

I know, which goes back to the "immature". Then again, he did hang around as a girl for like a year, so he probably is. That said, I enjoy calling him out in every thread, it reminds me why Era's collective IQ is lower than my ACT scores and fills me with joy knowing even the management of the iPhone server keeps up to par.

Complaining and offering positive criticism is not whining. It's funny, I rudely criticize people in the most blunt and offensive of ways - purely for the sake of being mean and breaking spirits, and people actually whine demanding I be more productive in my complaints. So I offer Andrew something helpful that would improve the way he posts updates, and now I'm the one who's whining? I guess it's back to calling people "asscastle" and "I've seen toddlers form more coherent points than you", that seems to be all you guys can handle without falling back on "lol u mad".

That's innuendo for something heavily homosexual. I'm going to write a fanfic about you guys, keep an eye on the latest blog notification on the front page.

have you ever played Era iPhone? j/w
you do make me laugh though, gg

fyi when you realise Graal is a game, you'll see how much of an idiot you're looking.

I could take your post a part too, but what is the point? And I don't know what SNK looks like, but hey if hes good looking, he can definitely keep it coming... :)

ffcmike 03-18-2011 08:55 PM

Instead of what Pojo is suggesting in having a single thread for all updates, perhaps it would be a good idea to have up to a handful of Era iPhone threads within their own specific sub-section organised by what type of update they are, so maybe a thread for new hats, a thread for new furniture, a thread specifically for seasonal updates such as St Patricks & Valentines etc, while updating it something like once a week as opposed to each and every time something small is added, and then anything that does qualify as a major update could have its own individual thread.

This way forum users would immediately be able to recognise whether the thread may be of interest to them beforehand, but it would still maintain an organised structure rather than becoming a cluttered list where it might be hard to find what you're looking for (which can still happen by result of posting a thread every single time).

My point is every individual counterpoint within my post, I thought it was pretty clear to be honest, but I understand that sheer amount of words may have overwhelmed you. I promise from now on I'll utilized something more your speed, like badly drawn MSPaint images.

I said that the first time, even going so far as to suggest Andrew be able to moderate that subforum, but NOPE THAT IS A DUMB IDEA HAHA THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE
Granted that doesn't help me, but the larger part of me suggesting a single thread isn't so I don't have to see "ERA IPHONE" all the time, but so it's easier to navigate Era iPhone updates for those interested (which the subforum would be good for too, as that would even provide a suitable place for Era iPhone conversation, allowing for the (if willing) iPhone community to connect with the PC community, without being lumped into the server somewhat similar to theirs).

Luda 03-18-2011 09:19 PM

I don't know why you guys are ganging up on Pojo about this, it seems like a reasonable idea.

xAndrewx 03-18-2011 09:30 PM

idk what happens- I post updates. I don't know why he's always crying about a game he doesn't play, sounds childish if you ask me

You not answering my question made this post that little bit easier. thanks

Your question was irrelevant. I've never said anything about the server/updates, it doesn't matter whether I've ever played Era iPhone or not. Nor am I "crying" (or even talking about) the server. I haven't suggested anything about the server, so there's no reason to resort to "DO YOU EVEN PLAY IT??", because we're not talking about the server.

It's about your posting. The only part of Graal this applies to is the forums, which I quite frequently play.

Right, because your posting regarding a server in which you don't play doesn't matter. gg

Well done, I must say lol

I'm pretty sure I said that in every single sentence of my last post.

Updates are not about the server? right...

If you have problems, contact Darlene. You're not a super moderator, and if she wants me to post them in a single thread then so be it. Failing that, you can keep forum spamming.

Shadow5596321 03-18-2011 09:53 PM

Lol.

Even I get what Pojo is saying.

It's not about the server, or the updates. It's the manner of how you're posting about the updates. Its a constant spam of small updates.

The topic isn't about updates, or the server itself. It's about you and posting like 1-2 threads a day with these updates.

xAndrewx 03-18-2011 09:57 PM

Why doesn't he just ignore my posts? lol

bioboi 03-18-2011 10:01 PM

Probably because he doesn't wanna get his hopes up when he looks around at new posts and only see it's a update thread with one-three things in it.

He can see that it's Era iPhone related- what would be the point in clicking it if he didn't want to see it?

Shadow5596321 03-18-2011 10:18 PM

It's more of a "OH HEY NEW THREAD oh it's just an update thread about era iphone" than what you're thinking.

I don't get it? If he's not interested in Era iPhone why click the link?

Shadow5596321 03-18-2011 10:47 PM

It's not that he wants/doesn't to, it's that he's sick of seeing it when it only contains a few updates.

I think it would be easier to turn Era into an award winning game of than year than it would be to compile a list of ten things that don't go over your head.

lol :) so funny

FrozenLies0 03-19-2011 12:26 AM

lol this is really not necessary.
yes andrew can put posts all together on one thing
and yes it can be made into several different threads
all in all it's not really a big argument over o-o
it's just a few simple clicks to look at lol

Andre2006 03-19-2011 11:18 AM

Nice update! I also like the tiles, they are nicely set together!

Have you tried ignoring the topic? It's not like these forums are that active anyway... at least with positive energy. What I find ironic is how players are complaining over small updates when what they are saying is even more trivial. Let them have their fun. Too many negative nancies all up in hurr.

Fulg0reSama 03-19-2011 11:52 AM

I think it should be archived into either a subforum (wont happen) or the simpler choice, make a sticky on Playerworld's section (Sorry but Era iPhone doesn't affiliate with Era PC, so why post it in this section?) call it "Era iPhone - Updated: (What for/Date)".

Too bad Darlene is too busy selectively doing her voluntary work.

@NYN I think this is more of a matter of a personality conflict than it is a method problem (though it still being a method problem anyway).
Regardless, I agree somewhat we're being a little bit too bitter, but what else is there to read? We don't just commune to each other but we also listen for what's going on with Graal itself. I'm pretty certain if hypothetically Classic iPhone was to post in a Era iPhone thread then you would see this in a different light.

The_Federov 03-19-2011 03:24 PM

I'd play it, if I could use the PC for it.
