For something like a kart map it only requires a simplistic layout and I think that layouts are what are supposed to be setting one map apart from another (whether this is a different variation to other kart maps on UN I don't know), but I too feel that the tiling is a very poor representation of the theme, it's essentially your normal castle tiles (when there is an alternative within pics1.png that actually does come across as more creepy) with lots of halloween trees (doesn't exactly make sense) and only a small portion of lava (might have been better to use in a larger quantity).

GK's balloons are so amazing.
But, for a track titled "Forest Frenzy" I thought there would be a lot more...forest, and less...insides? I mean, I think the castle track had more trees. It should have been all outside, not inside tiles. (Quality over quantity!!!) |
