Is it possible to tell if a player is banned via script?

I thought I made this thread before, but I can't seem to find it...

Is there any way to tell if an account is banned via script? I ask because I would like to improve Era's support by including information on how to contact a staff member in the server description if an account is banned.

For example,

You could probably rig something up with requesttext("localbans", NULL);

It doesn't seem to work serverside or even clientside while connected to client-RC. It seems to be restricted to priveledged scripts.

Also, I'm guessing it would only return the first 1,000 bans like RC does. Era has more than that.
