Disappearance of Ban History
 

Has anyone else noticed that pretty much every single ban that had been applied to a player before a certain date within 2008 is no longer shown within a players ban history, whereas any ban that had occurred after this still gets shown?, I think this problem also dates back to when the servers were moved.

It may be a period of time approaching over 3 years ago but even at that length I personally would want to know about this information in the event of hiring a developer for example.

I didn't have my ban which I had from further back which I believe was in 05-06 from andy on N-Pulse which Tig checked and said I didn't have any bans o_0

Perhaps this problem is on a deeper level than what is merely visible then.

I noticed it as well. All of my ban history is cleared apart from one in 2009 on Graal Kingdoms after the support center was hacked.

We have cleared older staff logs and bans from the database to improve the speed of the database. There are still backups if really needed for some cases.

Maybe it would have been a good idea to clear out all of the smaller bans that aren't hacking for instance, and if possible clear out bans from servers that have never been on the PlayerWorlds tab but leave the bans that were on established servers.
Quite often someone might appear to have a large ban history, but then 90% of it is either abuse from or a squabble with owners of private servers.
