Getting old Playerworlds back?
 

I have a Question.

Is it able to get old PWs back? Like Playerworld## ??????

3-4 Years ago there were accounts like Admin-Playerworld## and so on.

Maybe someone can tell me if it is possible to get THIS Servers back.

But I dont have the old Admin-Playerworld account.
It belonged to my old email which got hacked on graal.net
Well what to do now? I made like 3 emails to [email protected] but no answer.

The "Admin-Playerworld###" was just an account you'd get when first renting a playerworld.
"Old playerworlds" are still linked to the account you first bought them with. Find that account back and rent the playerworld with it to get it back.

Getting an old playerworld back is next to impossible. Even if you did find a player with a copy of your old playerworld, you would probably find it would be more work to make it GS2 compatible than it would be to just remake the server from scratch. I've seen it tried on a few occasions with disasterous results. Not saying it can't be done but its a big headache.

Many of the old playerworld# accounts have already been disabled and due to the age of the backups they are often corrupted or incomplete. The only one with access as I'm sure you already know is Stefan. Quite often they are also difficult to even find since the newer saving system method links to an account while under the old system you could find them by name or playerworld number.

Bottom line, if you really want it that bad you should see if any of the old staff members have a copy first. Then don't expect to upload and play or you will be really disappointed.

The old PW was already GScript2.

In the time it takes to do this you could already be well on your way to completing a new one.
