I can't seem to get anything other than dynomite from the presents, what else is a possible reward from the present?

Everything.

Been told we could get a stygian essence from them, but I doubt it's true...

the only things i've gotten are: dynamite, ncp beans, snowballs, and a reindeer mount. Someone got a lupin essence last night I believe x]

You can get any essence, the candycane/christmas items (BoC), polar/reindeer mounts, snowballs, NCP beans, bombs, dynomite, etc.

There's been like 5~ Styg ess found so far and it's only day 3.
I personally have found dae ess, 3 mounts, 18k leaves (lol), and a bunch of the other crap.

Every 2 seconds someone shouts that 'OMG I ONLY GET DYNOMITE'... so it's fairly common to get them apparently. But people who have amassed like 100 presents have found BoC/Styg while others (like me) who have gotten thousands have gotten crap. So it's totally just luck... but why is everyone complaining about free crap?

I found a dae ess and the polar bear mount. 2 years ago I got dae, christmas daggers, and a sonic cutlass or two.

I haven't gotten crap...this is depressing.

it takes hundreds of presents to get anything useful, new meaning to "farming"

I wish they monsters drop the presents so I can train and get presents.

nah, then we'd all be farming low level monsters and make it a living hell for new players/people trying to level. :(

It only really takes one.

Ah. Found a good spot. Found a demonic essence now.

Agara Elves is a pretty good spot,

if you do not want to get lamed while present farming, because there are groups of 3-4 individuals who don't present farm and just lame people while they present farm, do the following.


Get on a very low level character
go to osl
say /toggle pk

and farm for presents that way

just don't do the following:

-Tease the level 60's
-Steal other peoples presents
-Stealing peoples bushes*

* With in reason -_- there are a lot of jack@$$e$ on zodiac who believe every bush on the gmap is theirs.

Anyone else find this hilarious? Yay for training on glads. Btw, I got the Angelic Bow from a present.

I got a lupin ess from a present, but I traded it for a reindeer mount. I think I got ripped off don't know

the items I've gotten are:
lupin ess x1
npc beans x39
Christmas dagger x1
angelic harp x1
candy flute x1

are any of these good besides the lupin ess?

Angelic Harp you can sell for about 200k, i sold mine for that.
Candy flute is good i suppose.
Christmas dagger is rare and will be worth more later probably, since it is a holiday item.
NCP beans are crap. and yes, it's NCP, not NPC.
