Free program for saving tilesets?
I know saving a tileset in paint doesn't work and that's the only program I really know how to work. Does anyone know a free program that I can use to save a tileset that Graal can actually read?

GIMP, Paint.NET... Not really a fan of either, but hey they work and are free. Personally I would just get my hands on a cracked Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop.

i'd use Giffy, it's a program that you can just resave it from bmp to gif, so u can still use paint, however, i'm not a fan of the gif extension so i'd use Paint.net :)

paint.NET is a (free) quick open then save again as 8bit png. I use it all the time. :)

Irfanview (2~ MB). I use it for all my image conversion MSPaint PNGs -> 8-bit png.

Photoshop is free if you know where to look

It's kinda like Firefox vs. Google Chrome, where Photoshop is Firefox and Gimp is Google Chrome. |

Just use any of the above. If you're just looking to save a file then it doesn't matter what else the program does unless you're interested in actually using it for something else. I use photoshop to save my stuff, but only because I also use photoshop for its other uses. If I just needed it to save images I'd use something simpler.
