R.I.P. Travis Fo

I know this isn't exactly "Era related", but it only seems fitting that you all should know that Travis Fo (Lostsurfer1) was tragically killed Saturday night this past weekend.

For those of you who knew him, I hope you'll remember him, for those of you who didn't, you certainly missed out.

Rest In Peace Travis Bushe...you will be missed.

None here...the memorial service is being held today from 3pm to 7pm in his home town in PA. His sister was the one to contact me and inform me.

Unless you have some long-lasting illness or are just naturally old, I don't see how you can die 'peacefully' in your sleep.

Being a professional facebook creeper I can confirm this after about 20 minutes of lurking on his friends walls.

Aneurysms aren't age-dependent, and could easily account for someone dying suddenly (and perhaps peacefully) in their sleep.

Or

SADS, or Sudden arrhythmia death syndrome, is a term used to describe the sudden cardiac arrest, and death, of an individual who, in most cases, was not aware a cardiac complication existed. In many cases, death occurs in the event, often while the patient is asleep.

...and so on.

Well I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I very much enjoyed our discussions and I wish the best for his family and so forth. A very nice person and enjoyed working with him throughout my time on Era.

taylor 11-18-2010 04:21 AM

I'm pretty much speechless...

He was a great guy with good intentions, we had some fun times on Era as a staff member and player...

He will be greatly missed, R.I.P Travis!

Exolia, I'd like to speak with you for once in a lifetime...

Dark_Zeratul101 11-18-2010 05:09 AM

It's sad to see a cool folk who's played Era since 2003 pass away.

The movie was okay btw, nothing special.

Locking this thread. Pay your respects in a personal way, because this thread is attracting too much trolling, immaturity and the sort.
