Atlantis looking for skilled developers!

Once again, we are trying to revive Atlantis! This time, we will hopefully succeed.

About us

The "old plans" still stand:
We are aiming for a classic-ish approach, to keep it simple. Atlantis-classic, that is. Which is mostly Graal-classic, with some fun quests and a hell lot of cool events and other fun stuff to do. Also, the idea to make it multilingual this time is still in our heads.

A customized version of pics1 and other custom graphics will be used. Some designs will be inherited from older versions of Atlantis; old players should be able to spot some familiar places :)

The base systems used will be the classic ones, with small alterations, also featuring a day/night system and some other cool stuff.

Open positions

We are currently hiring:
  • two level designers
  • one pixel artist

As a level designer, you'll be mostly working on outside levels right now. Later, we will need some cool dungeons and other usual stuff like house insides.

As a pixel artist, you'll be providing us with new graphics, be it tiles or sprites. You should be able to match the current style.

Apply!

Interested? Throw me a forum pm telling me which position you are applying for. Give me some more information, too. Whatever you think is appropriate or what might get you hired ;) I'll also want to see some examples of your work.

Interested, but not a developer? Hop on and take a look! See you soon!

This is really is a project worth working on. I enjoyed exploring the overworld a few months ago with Crono and Dusty.

Is there going to be a language barrier working on the server?

Curious as to how much of the staff speak English and such, and if that would be a problem.

I don't think that's a problem... I believe everybody of the actual Staff is speaking english... of course not perfekt but we can communicate to each other ;)

All staff members should and most likely will be capable of speaking decent English, enough to communicate with players and other, non German staff members.

Is it still considered Classic, i.e. no Gold required?
