Zone

Apparently my last thread wasn't constructive when i just wanted to see how zone people were doing yet threads like 'today's event is awesome' which is bashing it is allowed,

anyway what are zone people doing these days?

I think it would be very constructive to inquire about Zone's ongoing development and plans for the immediate future! I mean, that is the sort of thing that pikes player's interest and encourages potential developers to devote their time to the server! and it is especially important considering there has been little to no information directly concerning the server's potential!

Unless they're going for the tried and (un)true method of remaining detached from the community until people begin questioning them, in which case, the paying customers are alienated and exiled for showing an understandable lack of faith in the distant and invisible people responsible for the server's progress (or lack thereof)!

I personally have stayed gold for the past two years just for Zone!

Waiting for Zone to come back alive.

:(

It's kinda weird tho.. Stefan says he wants to make money with GK / Zone, But then why doesnt he spend some more time on the servers.. He is the one who can get a team of developers back to Zone, well actually.. Zone doesnt even need developers?

The server just needs to be set back how it used to be, The problem of Zone isnt that there arent enough updates.. The problem is that there were toomany updates and then Zone went dead?

We just need to start with Zone how it used to be like 6 months/1 year ago, Then start doing some updates again but be carefull with making the changes..

---
The problem on Zone is, The server itself isn't bad.. But it just sucks when there arent enough players! We need to keep Zone alive ourselfs..

That's not true. It doesn't have players because it got old. If Zone went back to "how it was", it would not sustain a high playercount forever, nor would it encourage new players to come. Development (especially the kind players can see, not invisible systems and behind the scenes work) encourages people to stick around to see what changes, support the server, and offer assistance.

I've been paying for Graal since 2006. I have hope for Zone, even if it takes a while for them to get set up.

They'd better magically pull an update out of their ass for Zone halloween, it's been my favourite all year. :(

dude2020 09-29-2010 02:59 AM

I don't even see the traditional decorations even being put on Zone.

Feonix 09-29-2010 03:05 AM

Last year they skipped Easter.....I didn't see any giant bunny roaming ircia, and that same year we had an invisible Santa claus handing out presents. Serious lol, they somehow ''lost'' his scripts but you could still hear his footsteps.

dude2020 09-29-2010 03:11 AM

Lol@losingscripts.

just as stupid as firing ets for being inactive on a server that has a daily playercount of 0.
