Just started playing again, but uhm wtf is this.
I'm trying to make money manually and I get PKd randomly, so I try to run into a NON-PK zone and I'm still PKable? Srsly wtf.

Atleast make it like that when I hit the person back, not so they can kill some random "newbie" whos trying to make money, etc.

Era has always been this way, and I don't see it changing any time soon because most of the players like the pk aspect.

You could try the mines, it's the only place I can think of at the moment where you can make money without getting pk'd. All though, I don't remember if it's pk or not.

Pizza Shop isn't PK either and makes good money, but is very repetitive.

After about approximately five minutes of pizza-making, I went back to making bouquets as it was a lot more interesting...

Mining. Mostly because you gain levels.

And yes, the mines are Non-PK.

All money making jobs are boring and repetitive.:asleep:

First, go make some pizzas so you can get drill, batteries and TNT's.

Then go mine for an hour or so, then you will have enough cash for a gun and ammo.

The best possible way to make money in Era would be to start out Digging, Making Pizzas, Flower picking, etc until you have about 50k. After this, trading guns with other players is much more profitable. Even with a workers potion, 5k per hour is pretty unheard of doing any money making job, and the right trade can make you tens of thousands.

This is the best advice you'll get out of this for making money perhaps...

It took me about a week of digging to get 50k without trading when I played for a M4.

Even mines aren't safe. If you don't have a light weight potion I could just camp outside the mine until you're done and shoot you to death. You won't ever make it to the store to sell your minerals because you'll too slow. So go buy a light weight potions.

No because it's a waste of time. You'll be waiting there for a loooong time before somebody even comes up out of the mines, and then after shooting them once or twice they'll just press the button and be warped back down.

Once they get shot they'll be in PK mode, I can go in and kill them. (Thank Chris for that.) But you'd have to be really mean/bored to wait for ever to do that.

Good luck. You've got 5 seconds and they have a headstart. And even if you do manage to kill them, if it becomes a frequent thing miners will just start using unstick me to exit the mines safely instead of taking any risks.

You have to be really stupid to die in this game if you don't want to die.

You have to remember that they're slow. If I was going to do this I'd lame the button and right when they came out i'd shoot them and when they ran in i'd go in right after and get them. They shouldn't be able to get far with all that weight. Even if they unstick there's plenty of people there to kill them, or I could just go there as well. The thing is without a light weight potion, they can't get far. :D

No I mean they'll just unstick without ever leaving the mines and risking getting shot in the first place. So they won't be in PK mode.

Or they could put sleeping gas on the lift and kill YOU when you chase them down in PK mode.
Proximity mines, claymores, etc. It's not hard.

Chances are you'll get bored of waiting for one kill an hour before it even gets to that though.

The people that mine a lot normally are noobs/trials so i'm sure they wouldn't be smart enough to do that. I don't think trials can enter the mines still though. Also hey probably wouldn't have mines on them to blow up the chasers, or gas.

Last I checked you lagged, and suck with BAR, I'm sure any trial with an IQ over 50 could beat you.>_<

I only lag on my laptop, and I don't PK on my laptop. Any time i'm pking i'm on my desktop computer which doesn't lag.
