New Era Guide?
 

I have been working on a new Era guide, as it seems the current ones are out of date, or do not answer all the questions new players have. Please note:

I do not take all the credit for what is in this guide. Majority of it was copied from the era wiki, sizzles site, and a few others. The purpose of this guide is to have all the available information in one spot, where it will be updated. It also allows all the information to be printed in correct format.

What the guide covers:
Era's Rules
Weapon Businesses
Food Businesses
Scamming
Transportation
Weapon Stats
Leveling up HP

and soon Weapon pricing (Hoping to get a close price range for every weapon) and other information as it comes. (such as hotkeys)

Please let me know if there are any issues with the guide, or if you have any questions. As i said above, my intent is to have all available information on one print-friendly link that can also be downloaded.

You need to update the information, in its current state it is just 3 sites copy and pasted onto one. But its nice you're taking the time to help out, thanks for leaving sources unlike those other greedy mofos. Good luck constantly updating, if you need help with current gun prices feel free to PM me, I'm usually online.

Yeah I still need to fix alot of stuff, but i wanted to just get it out for opinions and i'll go from there. I will definitely pm you my estimated gun prices that i have come up with after receiving amounts from numerous players.

What will be in the next update is Graal functions in general. Examples being how to add a buddy, send a mass message, etc. I seem to be asked that more than i am asked about era.

I am planning on updating it as often as necessary, and when i am no longer staff - pass it on to someone else, so it won't die with my staff career.

What's wrong with the Wiki, besides the ads.

Well like I said. I was hoping to learn more about what I could add in there so that it will be complete (for now atleast)

Many many spelling errors, not updated, not nearly as indepth as the one sizzle created or what I will be adding.

And sizzles is slowly becoming outdated (still talks about quests), and doesn't have any of the weapon stats that supaman and exolia created on their site. So they are all important websites, but I grouped together the important stuff and will add from that. I still have links at the bottom for those players seeking more Era related stuff

and yeah sorry about the ads... They weren't there when I build up the wiki. I haven't found a good free site/ lazy to move it now :/.

I don't think adding gun prices will be good since they constantly change and will give players wrong impression.

I can always move it to a wiki on http://era.graalcenter.org/ if you have people interested in maintaining it.

I'd be willing to maintain it, unless you meant the global new staff only

I guess it was about time to retire anyway. Nice 3 year run, I'll be redirecting my site to this now as long as you stay dedicated to it. Thanks for the credits btw.

Thank you. What I might have to do is put a link of the guide on a free website to direct to the guide as when i update this guide, the link will change. So that way i can just keep updating the link on the website, but it won't affect players trying to find it. Unless theres a site that allows me to keep the link the same. (Hope that makes sense)

Well assuming it won't be a hassel to update the guide, would continuously update it as i become aware of new price ranges. my intentions are that new players or those who simply do not have a clue, can look up the gun prices and go from there. Of course there would be a disclaimer on there about possible issues, but nonetheless, i think many would agree the hardest thing about Era is getting into the gun market, as you have no clue what guns go for.

Hot Keys
Standard Graal Functions (PMing, Mass PMs, adding buddiess)
Scottland Yard Gang information.
Large Map with each building identified
Weapon Prices

That is the new link, and will remain that link so people can start memorizing it!

It would look a lot better if you put the information into web pages instead of a giant PDF. I can set up a wiki tomorrow if you're still interested in working on that.

would like to see some info on how most of those weapons were originally obtained and if currently possible, how to obtain them.

Well, I did set up a wiki a while back but forgot to mention it. It has information on every gun and melee weapon (now possibly outdated with all of the buffs and nerfs) as well as every gang and business (also possibly outdated). You can see the wiki here.

Credits to Rogue for all the slave work (e.g. entering every gun into it).

I'm not going to maintain it but if someone reputable is interested I can set them up as a sysop so they can do whatever they want with it.

I'll gladly keep it updated and finish it up, I was going to ask you about that but totally forgot to.:p
