Era Currently Unavailable
 

http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/8506/stefano.png Era has gone offline for apparently no reason. Xor has been unable to restart Era, so we face the possibility that Era will remain offline until Stefan returns (which has happened before).

Sorry for the inconvenience. If the server outage lasts more than a day I will extend all gelat potions in effect for the time that has been missed.

In the mean time I will try to upload a backup of Era somewhere until Era can be restored.

Update 7/28/10 (4:54 AM): Stefan has confirmed that the machine is down and is working on a fix. Stefan is not yet on vacation, so Era should be expected to return soon.

Update 7/28/10 (4:50 AM): Unholy Nation, which is hosted on the same machine, is also down. Hopefully this is a problem with the host and it will fix itself.

Update 7/28/10 (10:24 AM): Era is back online.

lol Kinda wierd how only Era gets off and not Zodiac Unholy Nation or any other server.

UN went down at the same time I'm 99% sure, just appears on server list still.

Looks like servers on the host 208.101.22.228 are going down. None of the other classic servers are hosted on this host. It may be that the ISP is having trouble, so hopefully the servers will return on their own.

If this is correct, the servers listed here should prepare for the possibility and backup ASAP (although it looks like they are all deleted servers).

Stefan spilled the coffee again but doesn't want to admit it.

I'll be making a sand fort out of staff blocks when the server comes back to celebrate. Also because apparently people like my sandforts.

Don't believe any of this, I took the server out.

Hope everything gets resolved soon. I may go through withdrawls of gun fights and chaotic npc wonderment without UN and Era :(
