tents in Gwars
 

im sick of events being ruined by people who spend all their time inside the tents shooting at the doors, it ruins "vs server" events and it would be brilliant if tents in gwars could be removed, thanks :)

yeah i agree, its very annoying when people stash themselves in tents and wont come out.

It used to be illegal and you just kicked them.

Should be.

Maybe there needs to be a way to interfere with tent-use. Something which requires multiple users - so that it cannot be used for griefing. Perhaps team based tent fires (burn 'em alive).

Maybe they should just be /kicked like they always have been.

If it has always been there, and there are complaints, there must be a problem. When players are punished it ruins the flow of their gameplay... it's more effective to empower users within the mechanics of the gameplay.

The reason there are complaints from Staff (Steve) is because they forget they were allowed to kick them.

I guess some people find it fun to complain to staff, but personally I would elect for the option to burn their tent DOWN. :)

Zone is filled with those people. I'm a bit surprised you don't know this.

Buring the tent down would be interesting.

i suppose flamebombs could burn the tent down and kill whoevers inside :)

Tent fires sound cool. Shouldn't be instant death though, they should take DoT and have a chance to run outside.

yeh it should just fill every paert of the tent with fire and cause damage to the person inside it, they run out proberly into proxmines ;)

just disable the tents for events, since people still just glitch and go into the black stop trying to add new things to **** up zone

Can you not already throw projectiles into tents? ive forgotten how it works.

you can but they dont reach far enough into the tents to do any real damage, tazebombs will sometimes hit but 1 not many classes in Gwars have tazebomb and theres parts of tents not affected by them.

I'm not being aggressive. I'm not saying you were tryng to discredit Steve's suggestion.

Its not hard to figure out if they are killable or not. We've tested it when led to this thread. If anything, you'll have to blame Steve for not posting that we did.

Why even bring in facts about who can spar better when we're just trying to conclude what's needed to fix the issue about tent laming.

The issue has been resolved with two things.

Its now legal to kick people during events if they do it.
AND
We now want to burn down the tents.

Thread needs to be locked cause its just off topic **** now.

The issue is resolved, I'd rather have the development team (If we even have any) work on something huge that just might put back life into Zone (Depending on how the V6 release goes and how Graal Mangement plans to attract new players to the PC Version), not fix something that is just as easily fixed with a /kick or /unstick.
