Disable "Quit Graal" dialog

Like the title say, I'd like to disable this. It's ugly and useless. I know, v6 only, but when we have v6, let me disable this thing. And possibly add a function which exits Graal. I know, can be abused, but maybe that can be worked around. Integrating a "Quit" button into your own user interface looks way better than this dialog thingy.

Thanks.

Are you talking about the v5 Delphi window or the v6 GuiBlue one?

I'd like to be able to use the Esc button for a lot of scripted windows on Maloria and the "Quit Game" one only popup if you press Esc with no current windows active.

Just disabling this in the future. v5 won't be updated anyway, so I hope I'll be able to disable it with v6.

I'd say remove it completely.

How many people actually use it to quit Graal? I'd have to say next to none.

Even though the problem is fixed in V6, this "feature" was abused and not actually used for it's real purpose by many people.

Disabling it would be another option, indeed.

i think it would be nice to use Esc for some sort of menu-ish options like any other game have.

There is a "hidden" script command which closes Graal already. It is only usable on login/iphone servers though.

I use it to close Graal. I very seldom use my mouse on Graal and prefer esc+enter over alt+F4.

I think it could be neat to have a script command that brings up the escape dialogue asking the user if they're sure they want to quit. I can't really think of any practical uses for it though. It can easily be added via shared script packages in v6 though.

Well, I'd like to remap the Escape key to a beautiful in-game menu, including an option to close Graal, so it'd find its use there.

I agree. More things need to be accessible to servers. A player isn't losing anything if the game quits. If a server wants to abuse and quit players' clients for no reason, then people just won't play the server. There's no reason for it to be login only.

If you are referring to my plans, I probably won't use GUI controls for it anyway. They would be of no use in this case, since I'm not planning to add anything mouse-based. Keyboard only stuff, you know.
