Forest Cavern Gauntlet
I figured it was time to give you something while you wait for other larger projects, sorry for the dungeon dry spell we've been having.
http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/5...letoutside.png Forest Cavern Gauntlet: It's a single room, your party enters and you start the gauntlet by standing on the switches on the floor when you're ready. You have to survive for 5 minutes. Every second the room slowly gets darker, the darkness is countered by light orbs which are explained shortly, without any intervention it only takes a minute and a half for the room to get completely dark. Every 30 seconds a set of 3 mobs will spawn, they have roughly 300k HP each and need to be downed as quickly as possible. These drop the light orbs that need to be picked up which will automatically fill the room up with 10 seconds of light. To makes things interesting while in the room you will receive a lethal poison debuff that will kill you, it ticks for 200 damage that multiplies depending on how dark the room is. When the encounter is over you will receive loot, and access to a new boss encounter when it's available. In order to be successful in this encounter you will need 2-3 Healers, and enough damage to take down the adds quick enough. |

I think Guantlet is too easy, you need to step up the difficulty. Perhaps spawn 4 instead of 3.

I'd also like to add that Guantlet is a lot easier, less time consuming and offers a overall greater reward than Ssurvolos(sp?) and Saej, unless you happen to get extremely lucky and get yourself a Halloween Weapon or War Cleaver/SotT which isn't likely at all. Guantlet is actually making Halloween Dungeon alot less appealing for some.

Gauntlet is a lot easier today than it was when that instance of the dungeon was released. I can tank all 3 mobs and require only 1 DPS class to assist with killing them. TBH, I don't even need a healer. I feel that with the current economy overflow of armor, accessories, weapons, etc., Gauntlet could use a buff. Perhaps 4 baddies, and each with an additional 100kHP, with 35 seconds between spawns over a 6 minute duration.
