Shooting Problem
I'm having trouble moving both top and left and shooting at the same time. When I hit all three buttons, I only move top left and won't shoot, making it difficult to pk. I'm playing on a new laptop, this problem did not exist on my desktop. I also had to set 64bit sound from false to true to hear the sfx from the guns, if that has anything to do with... well anything.
Something else I noticed are other 3 button combinations that don't work. I usually press q to see the menu and move with the i,j,k,l with one hand to switch guns with my other while moving. However when I try to open the menu and move top left (combo: q, i,j) I move only up and my menu opens but not left. The same for moving bottom left except I only move down (combo: q,j,k). Hence I think there's a problem with certain three key combinations, not all of them since I can move and shoot and menu in all the other directions. krnfire1423 also has this problem. |
I also had this problem with my other computer, couldn't find out what was causing it.
Does it make a beeping sound when you press 3 keys at the same time? (I think someone told me this was caused by stickykeys, but my stickykeys weren't enabled, so idk the cause). |
It's the system, not Graal. As Squirt mentioned, there are a few cases where StickyKeys kicks in by the Windows operating system and cancels all keys out. In other cases, the keyboard itself just does not support such an action and yes, this is most prominent in laptops since the lid closes down over keys so it's just that kind of protection.
End of the day though: It's nothing Graal related. |
Can't post links because of forums rules, but google 'Keyboard Rollover' and 'Keyboard Ghosting'.

Trying hitting shift 5 times then go to settings. Make sure sticky keys are unchecked and uncheck the options in sticky keys. Does that do anything.
Edit: I think it fixed it for me as i have the same problem as you, i just never really cared enough to try and fix it. |
I've seen this before and I think it was a problem with the keyboard (or driver, etc) ignoring more than 2 keys held down at once.

I tried it, for me it works fine.
