Increase of players? (due to iPhone?)

We may not have all the good times we once used to have when we were all growing up as noobs. Some of our childhood Graal friends are long gone, but I have noticed a lot more of accounts popping up. I ask them where they came from and they tell me the "iPhone" which is good, it means that theres a new generation of players ^^. They may be noobish, but we were all at one point, so maybe in a few years they can be more like us after all of us move on (probably not, I don't see a lot of people leaving)

On a side note: it really bothers me when these new iPhone players stupidly buy servers xD, then they have no idea what they are doing. ROFL.

I see a lot of new iPhone players even on Era, but they mostly tell me they are turned away by the prices.

Usually when I run into an iPhone player they bring up three things.

1. Do you know -insert name of staff from pc graal thats on iphone graal- ?
2. Have any codes?
3. Stuff about how pc graal is so different from iphone graal.

i see some on UN and try to be nice, they ask me to join US and i make rufus da bad guy

Some guy on the iPhone server logged onto Unholy Nation and his name was Rufus. I spoke to him for a while and let him use my head on the iPhone server, because I figured us Rufuses should stick together. He then went around pretending to be me, and even tried to convince people like Nataxo that he is me. I get asked at least once a day (and I wish I was exaggerating) if I play the iPhone server, if I'm staff on the iPhone server, or if I'm Rufus from the iPhone server. Never again.

My name was on the iPhone staff list for a couple of weeks and my email was posted for about a day before it was removed. In that day I received over 40 emails asking me things from "can I be staff" to "can you join my guild".

I still receive at least one or two emails a day from iPhone players asking to be staff.

Don't worry. I have a so called "iPhone Counterpart" too. Though I don't get anywhere near as nagged as much as you do.

lol, whats with the "can i be staff?"-noob syndrome? i dont ask to be staff on a game because i know a admin on there!

Unkownsoldier 06-29-2010 03:05 AM

Lmao it actually gets really annoying, because they think they are so cool in their controlled little iPhone world. Yet, when they meet the *Actual players they are just like confused. They think they are the best because everyone knows them. Yes, they maybe good on the iPhone, yet when they actually play the real servers they are terrible noobs. Some of them recently applied to be ET on UN and they were crying like babies when they didn't make it. I mean the increase is good.. but they are just so aggravating. rofl

Kinda like

Big fish little pond, but when that big fish steps into our pond, its the smallest thing out there o.o

Amazingly, there are people with more hours on Classic iPhone than I have on Era (over 3000).
