GMap problems (I think...)

So, I've uploaded a gmap on Bravo Online, I named the file
"intro1.gmap"
Which I later changed to
"bravo_intro1.gmap"

however, it's always warping me to intro1.gmap even though the file isn't on Bravo anymore, and no script is telling it to read this gmap.

Now I refreshed the file list - no work
Restarted the NPC-server - no work

now I can't log on my Graal707396 account, but my brothers WanDaMan account works fine! I've tried resetting Graal707396 which didn't work, I've changed the level and still won't work. It's stuck on the intro screen saying
"Connecting to Bravo Online" and doesn't even show up in the Bravo Online playerlist when viewing the list in RC, any ideas?

When this happened before on another server I had to restart the server for it to clear completely.

How exactly did you get your new gmap working again? I pretty much ran into this issue myself but i've still yet to manage to get my new gmap up.

Also, are gmaps going to be easier to manage in v6?

Unfortunately not.

GMAPs are a nightmare getting to work. The solution is basically to try the following in order until it works:
  • From RC, "/updatelevel mygmap.gmap"
  • Quit & reopen client
  • Restart NPC-server
  • Download then reupload the GMAP file (for a different file modded time).
  • Refresh the file list
  • "/find mygmap.gmap" and make sure it doesn't exist in multiple places
  • Make sure the GMAP file is marked as both "level" and "file" in the folder config
  • Move the GMAP to levels/*. For some reason it doesn't always work in subfolders even when they're set up correctly.
  • Restart the Gserver ("/global servercontrol restart" in RC if you own the server, or get a PWA)

Especially when you dynamically generate them, however my problem was solved by fixing the folder config for it.
