Graal stutters/doesn't play smooth

I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 and now Graal runs at a very stuttered pace. It's not exactly running slow(fps stays a consistent 20), it's just not smooth. All my other games run fine.

I've tried running it in compatibility mode, I've tried disabling visual themes, tried setting the affinity to 1 CPU... none of this seems to work. The Graal editor runs absolutely fine. OpenGL mode runs worse(12-15fps).

I have the most updated drivers for my graphics card. DXDIAG:

It's hard to explain. It runs perfectly fine for about 10 seconds and then you notice it's not very smooth. Like... every 5 steps you can tell there is a subtle... stutter. It's not even a fraction of a second, but it's very noticeable as it constantly happens as you run around.

I've been noticing this since probably v5 on both XP and 7.

This rarely happens but usually its if I have like media player on. Do you run anything else while playing?

I believe it's the same problem I have too. I believe reading somewhere that it is a memory leak on the windows client. Try running it in fullscreen mode. That is what I've been doing. :P (I've only heard of the leak on windows though, it runs fine on my ubuntu linux, and I have no clue about the mac client) :D
