request graal tutorial video
 

hey guys ok i read an know the basic gs2 what they do ect but still have problems like example when i want to do a system idk where to start ect. so i want to request if anybody will be willing to make some gs2 tutorial videos an post on youtube for me like basic gs2 then move into systems an break it down ect. sorry im a visual learner i learn better if someone show me an not read about it. thanks

Your best bet is to learn another programming language that has videos on Youtube to at least understand the basic concepts of programming/scripting.

Then read into GS2 on the forums, wiki, etc. Talk to the people on GDT IRC Channel, they might be able to help you too.

If you don't want to put in the effort to read and learn GS2, you're screwed.

This. Even though I know basic GS2 (fundamental basics) I didn't know any other scripting language. You just have to try and put effort.

well when i get my new comp ill work on scripting in gs2 that would be a goal i heard torque script is basically the same as gs2

I don't get why a video would help with scripting, it's not like it's graphical.

Doing JavaScript / Perl at College helped me with GS2 and in some ways doing GS2 even helped me do things in JavaScript / Perl as the concepts are very similar. As an example I did arrays in GScript before I used any in JavaScript.

It's more so the commentary that would actually be helpful not so much just the text editor being on the screen all the time.

k it would me cuz when i read something i cant even tell u what i read it just doesnt trigger but if it was taught to me like a teacher would in history i can tell u everything about it just how i learn also with gs1 u had a command list rite there in ur graal folder thats what i love about gs1 an also when u check for error it hightlight an tell u what is wrong

Well if it helps I converted one of those documents to support GS2 syntax, there's probably some errors in it but oh well.
