Iricia respawns.
When your base is taken your respawn shouldn't be that far from the base; you should recover your home base before trying to get others.
Just make respawns near the original area, not far away like they're now. If Storm's base is taken you could respawn just besides base 2 =/ |
bump...

You know this feature was added to PREVENT laming? If you move them closer to the base, it defeats the purpose of why it was added.

you should be able where to choose, HQ or w/e far away, when your base is under attack.

i want to be lamed, i want to lame, i want to kill.
imo Zone is about War.. ...huh? what's it good for? absolutely nothing! good guy y'all. |
Yeah, i agree, a little more freedom would be nice. Laming is half the fun, to be honest.

I love being the only good player on a team of trials when you're friends are laming, you can just sit there, wait for someone you don't like to get a big bounty (tell them peace) and then PWN them. When laming went away in zone, so did the players.

Laming FTW.

Honestly, 'Laming' was such an amazing tactic it got its own word. Laming is what made Irica/Zone, anything done to prevent it just ruins Zone more than it is. Players have a choice of what team to join, and if they join a ****ty team and get pushed back and lamed, well there's 6 or something other planets and 50+ other servers to go to and wait for the next round. QQ more, Zone sucks now, GJ :noob:

I'm not supporting the idea of laming, I just think the current spawns are way too far from the home base. My idea is to balance the respawns, not only on the top of the base, but like in other places near the base just to avoid mortar, etc.
Here's the map, the red dots are more or less where the current spawns are and the green ones are where I think they should be. Attachment 51105 The whole point if to make players get their home base before they can try to gain others... |
