more support needed

i been trying to contact tig to solve a issue im having with one of my accounts and it just seems like weeks befor he even answers me :/ so my opinion is graal needs better account support

cbk1994 04-24-2010 01:54 AM

They definitely need better support.

You might try emailing [email protected] for account support if you haven't received a response from Tig yet.

Cubical 04-24-2010 02:00 AM

It would be nice to have an in game support center like era has and then one accessible through the site for account/game issues that cannot be handled through the in game issues.

gravator 04-24-2010 02:13 AM

Have you contacted Ibonic? he is in account support, i'm guessing Tig is quite busy with many things already, so it would take time to help out the many people that turn to him for assistance.

fowlplay4 04-24-2010 02:19 AM

I'm pretty sure Ibonic (as a global) hasn't been around for a year or two now, so that's probably not something to suggest at all.

OP is also bottlenecking itself by only PMing Tig.

FuManchu 04-24-2010 02:40 AM

Email [email protected], he's good and seems to be active atm

Cloven 04-24-2010 03:44 AM

Don't feel bad, I've been waiting for a backup of Delteria Dev to be placed on Delteria for over a month and the best I've received so far was from TSA, who said that while he'd try to get a message through for me I probably shouldn't expect much because there is no communication from the CJ team.

Ibonic quit years ago. He has no global rights of any kind.

Also, yeah. It's rather hard to suggest "More support" when you're only contacting ONE person in a team. As mentioned in the thread, I'm sure one of the whole team, including myself, can help you if you e-mail "accounts AT graalonline.com"

xAndrewx 04-24-2010 09:02 AM

Yeah, TSA helps me alot with problems ^^

now how are people made aware of this. Is there a link to the global's emails on the server list page of graal? Or is it word of mouth...

There's this, but it's outdated and not well publicized.

fowlplay4 04-25-2010 01:18 AM

There's currently a news post with the support information, but it'd be helpful if there was something more permanent in the client and the support redirect that's still in a lot of people's sigs pointing to something useful would help.

:\ ?
 ?

Could bust out a custom one but that's closest you've got for using.

WaDaFack 04-25-2010 02:06 AM

I made a thread about this already.
I just Forum PMd TSAdmin about my "no reason global ban" this morning, whom claims he checks his mail EVERYDAY, and yet I'm still waiting.

My conclusion? They don't care.
If you're going to apply for something that requires your time, than please. . . be loyal or do your job properly.

If Graal has been around for 10+ years, and this is only a problem now, than you know whos to blame.

James 04-25-2010 02:18 AM

honestly i'm surprised we still have forums

Your forum PM was sent at 5:17AM (my time) and it's now only 6 hours later and I have just replied. You also only waited 5 hours before making this post. There are 24 hours in a day my friend... I'd hate to see how you react when Microsoft tells you that they will get back to you within 24 hours and it turns into 48...

What ever happened to the support center?

Got hacked and unfortunately most people made their usernames their account, and set their passwords to passwords they used for their primary e-mail.

I thought this is what we had to do when registering for the support center?
It's what you do when registering for the forums.

The Support Centre wasn't part of Graal directly, so you could pick and choose your username, but it didn't really matter to us that badly because each ticket included an IP address so we could easily cross-check if the person was really who they say they were in-game, even if their username on Support was "Bob".

The Support Centre was powered by Support Trio. I guess they didn't really much care for the security of the companies using their software though.

Matt 04-25-2010 05:56 AM

Can you tell us if there's any hope for a new support center in the future?

It's been mentioned quite a lot of times on the forums actually. Stefan doesn't like the idea of getting another Support Centre for some reason. Maybe one major mistrust in one Support software company is enough for him to not trust any other support software companies. Last year, Tig was actually looking around for new support and found quite a few good ones, but Stefan shot them down.

Deeek 04-25-2010 03:18 PM

And I guess he's probably not going to code one himself.
I could make one - it'd be made of really flimsy cardboard and crayon drawings but what matters is that it'd be effective

I can change it easily but I think the reason it has not been edited out by now is because Streety is still in the Global Development Team Global Guild here and I usually check the guild before adding or removing anyone from the list.

Imperialistic 04-26-2010 10:36 AM

Streety is gone, he had an Admin globally ban his account and change his password.

No more Streety!

Just because a single GDT member hasn't been removed from the list doesn't make the list THAT badly out of date........ picky picky.

By the way, don't remove my name from the list cause I'll be back to work tomorrow. Guess I just can't stay away.

I have already told you I cannot help with your issue that you messaged me about. You must at least know the account name or the email registered with the account before we can do anything.

Pelikano 04-26-2010 07:35 PM

We could use Google Wave :O

I wouldn't mind that really. Only problem is, it's not really a support center and doesn't have all the essential functions Stefan probably wants.

Yes, I'll be back doing accounts and being the Senior PWA again. All this really means is that all 4 of us will be able to handle your needs and I'm just the oldest one, both literally and figuratively :D

Well you can use Google Wave for anything you'd want.

Without any widgets it'd be better than the old support center we had :D
