Global trade requests

They steal your focus and are abused often times by players in events, etc, trying to mess up other players. I had to write a script to block incoming invitations unless the player has enabled them on Era. Please fix.

There is an ignore function somewhere.

Normally there is an ignore button, also you can set player.ignoretradeinvitations. Do not disable any of the Shop systems please.

option to completely ignore such requests would be nice ^^;

I wouldn't mind the ability to ignore all incoming requests completely. I lost 5 Gelats simply for clicking "Accept" or whatever the "Affirmative" button is labelled as, all because the prompt appeared inconveniently where I was busy working on. Now because of those 5 simple gelats deducting me from 300 to 295, I have lost an entire month of subscription time, which also expires in 12 days now.

Sure, you can stop in the middle of a spar or event to find your mouse and then find the ignore button, but by that time, you've already lost. It would be better if they were less intrusive, something like a "Trade Request Pending" button on the taskbar.

And we really don't have any choice but to disable them until this is fixed.

I imagine you could automatically set the ignore flag when they enter an event, and just set it back to whatever it was before when they get out of the event.

Crono 04-09-2010 06:14 AM

or, you know, let the players toggle their own ignore preferences
