"exploding" spells
Ok I may be the only one that feels this way BUT, i believe all "exploding" spells should explode on contact of a player or monster as they were meant to be. this may seem like a small fix but would greatly change tactics for mages. it would introduce a new element (well i fixed element). This would make these spells usefull in battle and possibly leveling. It would make them more than "bullets" with larger cast costs
Granted i realize this may not be done for one or both reasons: 1. it will not be an extremely easy fix since each of these "exploding" spells are in different categories. This means that dev. can't just go in and fix a specific category. in all likely hood it will have to fixed on a spell by spell bases. 2. staff is either busy or doesn't care. it's the blunt truth. these spells consist of: small, medium, large fireball small, medium, large snowstorm poison cloud (side note: can we make this actually poison?) small, medium, large manaball holy orb |
Would be interesting to fight against, would certainly be a new tactic to keep melee players away almost and melee players that go in for a hit might find themselves taking damage since you could strategically cast on yourself creating a sort of shield.

My suicide running would be a lot more entertaining this way. Imagine charging into Kavisr with holy orbs circling you
