FN Mark 46

The FN Mark 46 was originally released by Bounty Hunter, only four of these items were released. There are still as of now, four remaining on the server.
I only see three Active ones though. The item costs an arm and a leg; originally and even with Chris Vimes' massive nerf, the price was always the same... a few limbs. A little while back, the item was maliciously nerfed by another Admin to the standards of a common item. One as frequent as 35 released each sold at under 15,000$.

These are the stats of one of the rarest and most expensive items as of recently:

Gun Stats for 'FNMark46':
Damage: 20
Rate of Fire: 0.3
Freeze: 0.14
Reload: 0.5

These are the stats of one of the least expensive and most frequent items as recently:
Gun Stats for 'Daewoo':
Damage: 20
Rate of Fire: 0.32
Freeze: 0.14
Reload: 0.2

I don't think you need a rocket scientist to tell you there's something wrong with that. I mean if the Tommy Gun gets a sexy buff randomly, can the FN Mark get some TLC? I know this revelation will piss off FN Mark owners; but sadly it is what it is. Although none of us FN Mark owners are tight-knit with Admins, we'd like to believe that there's a shortage of bias on the staff team and that our item can get some well-justified TLC (Tender Loving Care).

Thank you.

Mine was reset, which I obtained off luscian when he was about to quit.
If that helps with the number of them around.

As I explained to you, gun stats don't follow price, it's the other way around. The gun used to be a gang (or business, I guess) gun, so it's understandable that it was nerfed considerably.

So what's your reasoning behind buffing the TG to the best,or one of the best guns in era, aside from the fact your buddies have them.

Please explain these other unknown factors you continiously illude to.
I guarantee you the FN Mark 46 will meet those requirements flawlessly. =].
Also, the Morano Thompson was a gang gun... its stats are purely justified due to there being a "good-amoun" of them amongst other things.

Gun Stats for 'Morano Thompson':
Damage: 20
Rate of Fire: 0.24
Freeze: 0.12
Reload: 0.35

Gun Stats for 'FNMark46':
Damage: 20
Rate of Fire: 0.3
Freeze: 0.14
Reload: 0.5

Whats your explanation for that?
Note: The less of each thing except damage, the better.

I am seriously about to make you eat those words, haha.
The Desert Raven belonged to the Blazian Bandits before the gang gun was changed, these are the current stats of that gun.

Gun Stats for 'Desert Raven':
Damage: 24
Rate of Fire: 0.25
Freeze: 0.1
Reload: 0.25

Please, explain to me how its rarity and cost didn't play a huge role in that.
You RECENTLY BUFFED this item. Hm?

Nonepwnz 02-16-2010 11:36 PM

All the other Bounty Hunter members were given stats according to these same standards and all are sold for above 300k and their stats "fit" them. Yet there's more than 8 of each of them.

Gun Stats for 'UMP': (8-10 of these exist)
Damage: 20
Rate of Fire: 0.24
Freeze: 0.13
Reload: 0.3

Gun Stats for 'Dual Bounty Hunter': (16 of these exist)
Damage: 20
Rate of Fire: 0.29
Freeze: 0.14
Reload: 0.3

Gun Stats for 'FNMark46': 4 of these exist.
Damage: 20
Rate of Fire: 0.3
Freeze: 0.14
Reload: 0.5

Please explain that difference? The most expensive is the weakest? o.O?
Makes no sense dude, come on fix it, you know its wrong.

DarknessShadow 02-16-2010 11:40 PM

Even the guy with a TG is complaining.
Buff it.

GarethOmni 02-16-2010 11:56 PM

The spread stat should be included in there, Just sayin.

Venom_Fish 02-16-2010 11:59 PM

It doesn't allow me to do view that, or else I would most-definitely.
The spread is an opinionated matter, as for me, I prefer less spread than more. I actually like my bullets going where I intended them to go, I hate "hoping" to hit someone.

So thats all arguable, so its inclusion wouldn't do anything to support or negate my argument.

Interesting. I'd always assumed the more spread the better, since it's harder to predict where a bullet will go if they spread more. But then again I'm horrible at it, so it makes sense that someone who isn't would want to be more in control of where their bullets go.

Dnegel 02-17-2010 12:09 AM

A gun with much spread should have much rate of fire, a gun with little rate of fire should have little spread.

Venom_Fish 02-17-2010 12:11 AM

Huh?
Do you mean: The more spread, slower the gun should shoot?
Less spread: Faster?

Or vice-versa?

Good_Ol_Daze 02-17-2010 12:41 AM

somebody named a gun after me?

Nataxo 02-17-2010 12:53 AM

Make a shop that sells them.

CharlieM 02-17-2010 02:14 AM

He's right, theres 3 Fn Marks, and there is 10 or more UMPs and UMP has some of the best stats for a gun
