Dragon bleh?
 

Despite my better judgement I originally posted this on the zodiac forums where degenerates and children either said nothing or called it a "waste of time" to politely reword their language. So I have come to my senses and decided to post it here to see if any criticism is out there.

First off the dragon head was inspired by Elks dragon hat thing he made so I would like to thank elk for the encouragement even though it was indirect.

Second I have been contemplating if anything should be coming out of his mouth. Perhaps a blade? or fire? but then what form of fire? should it be wispy? should it be pointed as a jets flame? or should i look in another direction entirely?

Honestly, I like it. Looks like it could be a pretty unique axe or along those lines. Perhaps adding a curved type blade around the dragons head area as such:

Well the intention was for it to be a spear of sorts but i can easily see how it can be interpreted as an axe. I could post some of the previous incarnations.

The intention was to make a spear for zodiac. Now I don't work for zodiac nor do i intend to, but i logged on and saw the new Dragoon Trident or spear whatever that is currently in use. It was so repulsive that it felt like a personal insult to all graphics that anyone ever put any effort into. obviously shaded with a program rather than by hand.

If you want a good laugh log on zodiac yourself and say "/lookup Dragoon Trident" or "/lookup Dragoon Spear" i cant recall the name.

Anyways previous incarnations here you go if that clears up what i was intending to do with this.

A trident...alright. Now I've got something to go off of.

I would suggest dropping the wings altogether. They're throwing off the piece are just ugly compared to the head you've made. It is just a weapon, it doesn't need to have every part of a dragon - just the head will do fine. I'm not too sure about the incredibly thick spear head, either...

Here's an edit for you showing what I would like to see in it.

The first image you posted is in the right direction to be an axe of some sort.

Alarid's is much more spear/trident like. The wings seem like blades of some sort, in the first image.

Lol, at first I couldn't see the dragon, I relize now that its facing up, though I see a face when it's facing down too, like an old man/dragon with a large mustache/down facing horns.

Should make the horns curl back or something, and not touch the staff of the spear.
