I have 2 problems with audio and graphics. Help?

Alright I'm going to describe the audio problem first...
There is no audio at all. I can't get any Graal sounds to work whatsoever. I have tried reinstalling the game a few times, I have checked the F3 options menu several times over, and I have even checked my speakers themselves. I can't find a problem at all. However my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Perhaps that's part of the problem? That Graal isn't totally compatible with it? Does anyone else have this problem and knows a work-around or fix?
I also seem to be having a problem with graphics lol.
**NOTE: I know that this may just be a problem with my computer.
Moving on though, basically while I'm playing Graal every once in a while my screen will go completely black for a few seconds then come back. Then a prompt in the corner says that the device's drivers failed but were able to fix themselves. The reason why I'm asking this here is because it ONLY happens when I'm on Graal. Plus this computer is only 2 months old and shouldn't have any problems.
Thank you very much for any feedback in advance. (:

For the sound:

Go to your Graal folder (probably Users/You/Graal) and edit "game_config.txt". Change the line "tryloadsoundson64bit=false" to "tryloadsoundson64bit=true".

As for graphics, it would help if you can supply information about your graphics card.

Are you using nVidia or ATi? If it's the sooner, try this.
