Currently, when you die on zone you turn into a mess of blood and bones. That's all fine and dandy, but I want to up the anty - I want hands to the left, legs to the right, and everything else everywhere else. I want a mess.

Give me blood! The best submission gets a nice prize, and their work uploaded! Remember, it will probably be a gani, so you may want to have your severed head in one sprite and your flying mutilated leg in another! Better yet, save your intestine and splattered liver seperately!

Let's have a disgusting mess! ^^

j/k, i know it's only a 2d game, so it shouldn't be so big of a deal, i also agree that the old graphic needs to be redone, but why so gross?!

It's a game, and if there's something I've loved ever since my childhood, it's explosion on death. It all started with the exploding bird enemies in Secret of Mana <3

yeah now I have one huge reason to never play Zone. Graal is and has always been a 'cute' game, and this kind of crap doesn't really belong. I guess having such varied servers makes it slightly less inappropriate, but I still see no legitimacy in the gory explosion.

Interested parties, feel free to add details such as blond hair and silly tiaras.

Every update that's been done has been small.

Either way, point being: Why does it have to be realistic? I think making your opponent explode when they die would be waaay cooler than them falling to the floor.

Where does it state that I can't quote you? You happen to be the last one posted and I happen to think my post was related.

Whether or not it looks cooler shouldn't matter. Zone is slow with updates. If one should be made it shouldn't be something like that.

This is a pretty common misconception, and it's irritating. It's not like developers have X amount of time and can only spend it on this and that - as though it were cash. People are motivated to work on things which interest them, and something as trivial as updating the death gani (in my opinion) would not even be considered an "update".

This is just a fun way for players to get some rep, a nice prize, and see their work on a server.

I logged 52 hours in the first 3 days I played that game, and I didn't even own it yet.

Im finally gonna get Fallout 3 soon, im gonna enjoy it to the maximum!

Make sure you buy GotY edition so you get the DLC. GotY = ~$40 game + $50 of DLC

Question: Why are you doing updates on not so important things and not on other problems, the bigger complaints.
E.g. The gelat shop thing, I personally don't think its worth buying a gun for a month for $1 where there are free ones which can make them.

Instead why not add exp up (30%, 50% etc) which allows you to level faster or gold up (<#>%) or something else along those lines. Name changers etc, etc. I've played a large number of games and the majority sell weapons that are permanent but can also be purchased with in game money but at a certain rank. (FPS Games not RPG cause hardly any RPG sells weapons for real life money)

I have a limited number of developers, as a result I can only work on a few major projects at a time. Currently, the squad system is being updated. Some vehicles will be next, and after that a new weapon system.

These "not so important" updates allow the players to maintain an interactive role in their server and opens the opportunity to win a nice prize. Updates as small as these do not warrant lengthy discussions - they take about 1 hours work in total (make graphics, make gani, upload new graphics and gani).

Wait, you actually consider the few burst of players on Zone who don't even know these forums exist and more than likely also helped ruin the little gameplay Zone had before all this? These so called "updates" are hardly even updates. So far you've brought useless things that SN probably had planned.

I just heard you we're making zone into an rpg sort of game, with levels and armor. Whats this all about?

there should be like double damage buff and armor buff but you should only be about 2 get them in a game not from the trader
and roll should take energy
