Error when opening files in RC

I get the following error when im opening levels or anything from the filebrowser:

NPC Code:
Executable 'C:\Program\Graal\RemoteControl2.exe' had the following error:
Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll
Please ensure that it is installed

What should i do to get this problem fixed?

I think this is the error caused by Windows Defender.
Try disabling Windows Defender and then relaunching RC and opening a file.

It's fairly unlikely that you don't actually have the file. If you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7 then you should have it by default. And most programs that need MSVCR80.dll install it automatically.

If disabling Windows Defender doesn't work Download .NET Framework 2.0
That's where MSVCR80.dll comes from, I think.

Either that or .NET Framework 3.5

If that doesn't do the trick, unpack the attached .zip file into your Graal folder (or into the one where RC is located, if the two differ).

I dont have Windows Defender on my computer, so it cant be that, will try download .NET Framework 3.5 again.

Did try it, and now i got a other error message:

NPC Code:
Executeable 'C:\Program\Graal\RemoteControl2.exe' had the following unrecoverable error:
Couldn't find library ATL80.DLL
Please ensure that it is installed

I have even tryed with reinstall RemoteControl...

So what should i do now?

Remove the .manifest file again, as it obviously doesn't work :p

did you read the sticky at the top of these forums?
http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=66581
it is about the MSVCR80.dll error.

it might be that you already tried this, but i didn't see you mentioning this.

This happened to one of my PRs. Once he saved the folder into his graalfolder though it worked.
