Welcome to Era : Noob Survival Guide

Welcome new player to Era, If you have made your way to this thread then it would seem you are interested in learning the basics of this server. Below you will find locations of Quests with brief descriptions, Not a walk-through though because that would take all the fun out of it :D. You will also find locations and stats of ways to make money on the server.

Northern Quest

Follow the path in red and you will come across the building pictured directly below, This is the entrance to the Northern Quest. You will be rewarded with 10hp :cool:

Ninja Quest

The "Ninja Quest" is located in the top right corner of the map, It is indicated by the yellow on the map above. You will know you have reached the "Ninja Quest" when you see the building in the picture below. Upon completing the quest you will be rewarded with 10hp YAY!

South Ridge Mine Quest

The quest in South Ridge (The area across the bridge) is located on the left side covered in the purple haze, You enter through mine shaft and once you complete the quest you will awarded another 10 hp.

Please note that there is one more quest located in the sewer but it is out of order as of this moment in time.

In the following passages I will be touching on the three most common ways players make money on Era.

Flower Picking

The first thing you will want to do is head to the flower shop (Located in the light blue haze right of unstick me on the map pictured above) and pick up a basket to collect flowers with. (Shown in picture below)

Once you have gotten your basket its time to go out and pick flowers, You can pick any of the flowers you see outside. Equip your basket walk up to a flower/flowers and press D. Collect flowers for a few hours then proceed back to flower shop to make some boutiques.

When you get to the flower shop head into the backroom and have a seat at one of the tables and begin laying different orders of flowers down to make some money :D

Now that you have made some money picking flowers you have two choices, You can go buy a drill and some TNT and start mining or you can guy buy a shovel and start digging for sea shells at the beach. I'll briefly go over both of them.

Lets go mining

The main mine is located under the gray haze on the map pictured at the top of this post. Speak with the man stationed next to mine shaft to purchase some tnt and a drill. Dont forget you will also need batterys witch can be purchased at the shop located in pink on the map below.

Once you have purchased everything, Its time to go mining so head down the shaft by grabbing the red button and head into one of the caves located in the mines place a tnt and drill the rocks that fall. (Pictured below)

After you have drilled the rocks that have fallen it is time to process them, Proceed to one of the processors (Pictured below) and process your rocks by grabbing the belt. Once you have processed your rock take them to the miners union located nextdoor to the mine to be sold.

Now your ready to sell your processed rock, It is very simple to do and all you need to do is drop your processed rock into the gray basket thing shown in the picture below ! :cool:

Digging for Shells

The shell store is located under the pink haze on the map posted above. You can purchase a shovel here and also sell the shells you dig up. To dig for shells simply purchase a shovel and head out to the beach. Equip the shovel and press D, You will not get a shell every time you dig but when you do simply pick it up by pressing A !

Once you have collected a bunch of shells head back to the shell shop and sell them for some money :D

Over the next week or two I will be updating this guide to include information about guns and playerkilling.

This GUIDE really sucks if you ask me, Good try tough..

Your in the red ? Not trying to be an ass here but this guide is not complete, and looking at the sizzlesera site that took alot longer then 4 hours. As I stated this is not anywhere near finished and its just supposed to be a reference for new players with out holding there hand.

But constructive criticism is always nice.

Edit: That sizzles Era is real in-depth, I like it lol. Once again this is just supposed to be Lite-Guide, Just to point players in the rite direction

The guide is looking good so far, I'd love to see it when it's done.

I don't like it much. Would be more interesting with something being done in the pictures, such as showing prompts, or actual doing what your description states, instead of partially repeating yourself IN the pictures. Just my suggestion(s).

Good intentions though. ^^

I just dont want to make this an in-depth complete walk through, This is just going to be a "nudge" in the right direction ya know. It takes the fun out of it when your hand is being held.

I agree with this. Also, if your going to point out where the places are you may want to use a brighter attention-grabbing color, not a little hint of indigo that only players eho know the map, can find.

Sizzlesera have helped me many times, but it needs to be updated! x-x

Well thats probably because they are noobs and havent sent them sizzles era yet. To be honest, as a PR you should be doing the thing that helps out the most, not just because you made it.

Not everyone likes a thorough walk through, Part of the game is actually doing it on your but it is always nice to be pointed in the right direction.

If someone asks about the ninja quest I always forward them to sizzle era guide.

Ok so then all the other stuff on Eras sizzle is garbage besides the ninja quest? Yours isnt any better. I wouldnt be so critical of it, if it looks as if it wasnt slapped togather in 2 minutes.
