No PK Trades
You can no longer take damage in the trade room, even with charmed/summoned monsters.
You can finally step away from the computer for a minute and feel safe. |
Terrible.
|
Even with summoned monsters? Isnt that the only way to like.. pk in Bomb Trade?
|
Well. It sucks both ways.
I don't promote idlers like that. But when staff summon a billion monsters that kill people thats bad. The average person would have to summon a rather large amount of creature in the trade for it to really effect me unless they can attack with magic. I would rather people not paying attention to the screen be killed. But not by staff abusing powers to summon crazy amounts of monsters in there, unless it's an event and a heads up is nice! Either way. I don't think that either will make much of a difference. It's just a "safe" area I guess. |
I disagree, no staff really spawn much in bomb trade, there not aloud unless its a higher up messing with a single player. Theres not aloud to be monsterspawns inside of bmb trade anymore.
So all we're discussing here is it okay to be killing idlers for there 220 plat? |
Yes, pretty much. I think it should be allowed to kill idlers. However, some people run during pk's and hide in the trade and some people summon monsters to go in and kill. And then the pker goes to the spawn position and lets say it's outside dungeon, or haunted house or werever. And lets say the player is slow. They would never get away from the other person. But this is also not likely to happen :) Just my 2 cents again.

I would like to keep this feature.
|
Yes !!
|
I love this feature, Bomboria trade is often used as a meeting place for players to socialise and communicate with each other and should be safe from player attacks with or without monsters.
|
Didn't even know this was an issue.
|
I disagree with the ability to PK in one way but not others. Either have it PK or not, don't let one group of people able to do things others can't.
|
Yeah nice change, you shouldn't need to fear death in the trade house.
|
To elaborate on why i think this is a terrible step.
No balance was struck like a good update/change should. This change promotes idling and cowardliness in pking. I believe the best solution for trade and safe zone pking was to alter the pking system so that after you have damaged a player (regardless of what follows) a 'Pk-able' timer is placed on you for a fair amount of time (30seconds). While under this timer you can be PK'ed even in a safe zone, anywhere. This timer would only vanish after spending the time displayed as a neutral player. Being attacked or attacking someone resets the timer automatically. All safe zones would be as they should be 'safe' to the normal player, so i like this update in that respect. Idlers are now immune. A simple macro can now allow someone to gain illegitimate hours (not that hours prove anything other than your addiction to a failed game) which i believe to be both against the rules and the communities ethics. How do you curb this? Well i had a thought that anyone staying inside the same level or group of levels (MMT) for more than 60minutes should be deemed pk-able. Controversial yes, because some people might choose to trade for longer than that, or to socialise. In this case the player would go into a special mode, call it an 'idle pk mode', would be set on that player. If they leave the level or group of levels, the mode is removed. If they are attacked, the mode is unchanged. Death removes the mode from the player and they are healed to full hp and sp. The rule of the pk timer applies to those who pk idlers. Both i believe to be script-able, the difficulty I'm unsure of. They do seem to be the best solutions to everyone's problems. One of which has already been fixed. |
I totaly agree with this feature. Now we should find something else to make people PK easier :)
|
I miss cauldron bombs lol.
|
Terrible outcome. This is a joke, demons and laming have been a part of life on GK since i've played, its terrible to take his away in bomb trade.
I say we move the safe house to the events house or something, we're going to be spammed with idlers while people want to trade. If somones wasting there time idling, but giivng us playercount, then give them a place out of the way to hang out. |

I say we hold another poll. I have talk to multiple people that said they did not understand the question at first glance. they all thought you meant keep bomb trade as it is where you can bring monsters in.

Move to a safehouse? That's a horrible idea, I stay on gk to watch trades as I "Idle". Bomboria trade is like a place where players meet and socialize, I don't want to miss out on anything happening because I have to idle somewhere else for the amount of time I idle. I don't like it really, I never do much monster laming, even when I do I fail. Just, it keeps the game interesting. Wondering whether or not you'll be back alive, getting friends to protect you, etc. It provides different types "gameplay" if you want to call it. Quote:

I never liked polls anyway..Tig, hope you realize polls are so easily rigged using a third party.
|
I disapprove of this feature.
Charming demons and bringing them inside bomb to kill ppl was quite fun, well not that I always did these kind of stuff but when someone rly annoyed me it was the only way for me to kill them regardless of what mode they were in. |

I would like to see the ppl in bmode be capable of hitting each other regardless where they are (maybe aside from the event maps), and for the ppl in pmode, they shouldn't take any damage dealt directly or indirectly by players, even if ppl try to damage/kill pmoders with charmed monsters. |

Like I said, either have PK or don't have PK. It's silly to have it where only some people can PK by manipulating certain circumstances.
|
**** why don't we just pass out girly panties upon login seems like that's where this is going?

Like I said before, I support this feature. However, I would prefer battle mode players to be able to hurt each other in any vicinity.
Let's say there's some punk picking on one of my Zormite newbies in battle mode. I'll go to avenge my fallen comrade and the punk will run inside to Bomboria Tradehouse. Perhaps, something along the lines of not being able to enter a building within 30 seconds of dealing damage to another player would be a better solution to this problem and could still keep Bomboria Trade non-PK. |
Even though I don't play any more, updates like these are what turns me away from GK. Bomboria trade should just go back to full PK, imo. No one dared to go AFK in the trade unless they felt like losing all their ****.
GK is going care bear mode, do not like :(. |
no reason to log on gk nemore then.
peace accomodate the scrubs more plzzz |
Boo to this idea.... now the only thing to do is to lame the trade waiting for someone to cry harder enough to get you pillored like the kids below tried to do to me and klay back forever ago. This was one of my favorite things to do on gk seeing as there was nothing else to do.

also rebuff flaming aura to how it used to be years ago then gk will once again be playable

"if you don't want to be pkd then you should be forced to afk on event island." Possible or you should just go hide in pmode if you don't want to be pked. Being in bmode with hardly no save zones will allow us to fight each other more often, what I am trying to say is that there will be a lot more competition, Kingdoms for example can fight for the bomb trade house, now it's all like bears and tea **** inside trade. |
The feature stays.
