What's going on?

Since N-Pulse Debug server time ran out, most, if not all, development has been concentrated on the current state of N-Pulse. That's also the reason for obvious lack of Rebirth updates. I will not be giving out too much info since a few things are nearly done, so you'll just have to wait for their release.

So everyone is not in the dark still, here's what currently is going on.

- A new and better Guild Control Panel is currently in the works. Basically just giving guild leaders more control of their local guild, with ranks and such other things.

- The current, semi-popular event called, Castle War, has had a lot of bad feed back, which has been ignored. I have closed the event as of last night, and it is being completely re-done by our NAT Department.

- A new island has been underway for quite some time, that will contain a new, fun job !

- It is possible that some aspects of project will be implemented with current N-Pulse, so stay tuned.

(Previously Released)

I'd say a decent amount of work is being produced from what staff we do have. Any interest in a development position, should be directed here.

Comments and concerns.

Nice.
Can you guys try to start using more of the overworld for quests and such? By that I mean a complete server quest making you go to all areas of the overworld, then other side-quests for extra money or prizes?

More of the gmap will be used, that i can promise. Having everything bunched up in level2 is going to change. An alternative way to gain gralats/prizes is already in the works.

Level2 (OSL) is also being remodeled a bit, and next week an announcement of release will be posted by SlikRick or myself.

The Castle Wars that Kez hosted for a while got bad feedback? if I recall it brought up the player count significantly.

That was when it first came about. I've gotten comments about how easy it is to take over a statue.

Well as Matt has stated I've been working on an island to create a new job for players. This job has never before been seen on Graal and we are confident that it will go over well. I'm also working with Matt on ways we can utilize the entire OW to get players out of level2. When the island is closer to completion me or Matt will post details on what the job will entail of and all that stuff.

maximus_asinus 11-18-2009 05:44 PM

SlikRick 11-18-2009 07:46 PM

Once the island is close to completion I will be posting more in depth about the job and what it will contain.

For the most part, yes.

Thank god your finally changing the castle wars system. That event involves no strategy or anything. All it requires is a large guild. And seriously... breaking statues? thats the best idea people had? Why not something like hacking a computer and in the mean time while the files are being transferred you have to defend the computer as the opponent is trying to cancel it. And the computer that has to get hacked switches between the numerous rooms. Of course this wouldn't really match N-Pulses theme, but took me about 2 seconds to come up with an idea more original than pushing S constantly.

Another good idea would be having something important located in the middle of a map. And there are numerous missions you do with it. Take it to an opponents base, hack it, steal it, etc... each involving the guilds to work out strategies and what not.

When Kez was Asst. Manager, he lacked creativity due to his busy irl schedule, so he usually just thought of something, then whipped it up quick, but yes this if finally getting changed. There will involve strategy in this new version, more information will be posted upon beta testing.

What you described was "Hack the Terminal" from Perfect Dark.
