Win32 Error. Access is Denied
http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/8272/dev.png
This error message has been coming up for literally years. It seems to happen whenever the current screen is changed somehow; it happened in XP when you locked the screen (win + L) or when you pressed CTRL + ALT + DELETE and it brought up the menu, and it's still happening with Windows 7, only it's even more frequent. Not only does it come up when you lock the screen or go on screensaver, but it also comes up when you get a UAC pop-up asking you to allow something. Please fix it, it's long overdue. |
I never ever had this, and I'm running XP for 6 years now. Screensaver, locked screen, whatever: been there, done that. No such error for me.

With it happening during UAC prompts, does it happen if you turn off desktop dimming? In Windows 7 move the UAC slider down one tick from the default, second to last one.
I usually turn desktop dimming off to improve UAC performance and fix issues with some older games not properly supporting it. |

Still, this needs to be fixed; it still happens for other stuff, and you shouldn't have to change settings like this for Graal to work. |
