ET need all new staff
 

Zeratul is the worst ET yet.. He hosts a CS event to 8 for 40g or something.. I play and it lasts for about 45 minutes.. I had 7 and some bomy had 5.. I couldn't even see the stupid bomy because he was lagged so Zeratul ended up using "end game" about 3 times.. which would have given me 10 wins.. Then my computer screws up and I get back on with 0 wins, and the bomy gets another win for 8 and HE wins.. Then Zeratul says he can't give me the prize because I disconnected.. DUE TO THE FACT THAT HE DRUG THE EVENT OUT THREE GAMES OVER. I would have been fine with half the prize money but this idiot had to keep ending the game.. It's not like him ending the game is going to change anything, we would have been there all day until someone left, and just because I disconnected because of Zeratul, I lose. :grrr:

You restarted your computer, you lose the stats. No one really cares about your CS game anyway.

it's just a game for petes sakes! i'm sure he won't be the last one to pull a stunt like that

I'm just not in a good mood right now and this guy wasn't helping.. If you read the paragraph though you would realize that he ended the game like THREE times.. I would have most likely won one of those 3 games to win the event but because he ended the game over and over, I lost.. I didn't disconnect until after 3 or 4 games had been ended by him. :(

I havent done anything wrong yet. All of my events run smooth :) .
If I should ever happen to get fired it will be for abusing horse whistle :megaeek: .

Zeratul is a bad ET, not runnning any thing right, than Kriton is bad, because he is in the middle of survivor and turns it over to another and kriton doesnt give the other guy the prize money, than don't get me started on Purple Roze

Purple roze put a "joke of the day" on the et announcement spot earlier. :o

Well that sounds like him, he isnt exactly the best ET the world has yet to see, but at least he knows the commands.

And how about a Brad? He and a bunch of other ET held a Survivor, put all the players on one team, and then fought us. It would have been fun, but all the other ET died within the first five minutes, and after another few minutes he abandoned the game.

Also, why don't we just ban bomies outright from CS? They do nothing except confuse both teams and get in the way. Not to mention that there's only about two of them who can actually fight worth a damn. The only fun thing about them is pissing them off by shooting them again and again so they can never get up. :p

Weren't you the one who held a music event, got all of us on stage, then turned the lights off and left? Yeah, that was some quality event.

haha, that actually made me laugh out loud...that would be rather funny..probably the best quality event that the events team can hold..

Purple Roze attacked me constantly during a survivor event.. Non-stop. I had to run from him the entire time.. even when I was fighting other players he was hitting me in the back. I finally go to another ET and told them (while still being chased) and he told Purple Roze to stop attacking me and to only attack when the player isn't fighting anyone.

The whole purpose of et attacking during survivor is to speed up the game when players go and sit in a corner waiting for someone to attack. Not chase down players that they choose and try to kill them. :rolleyes:

Bah this thread is stupid, I was pissed off for a lot of reasons earlier today but still, something needs to be done I think.

I sortof agree with Konidias, Because these guys host a "corrupt" event almost every time! and then when I host my event some kind of staff comes and ruings it. Now that has only happend ounce to me! But it was an event that I made up! So I was kinda pissed! I think the ET's should always have to host an event for LYcia or a senior ET so they could test them like that.

Errrrrrrrrrr, okay.

Faris (wetferret2) was so nice to bring this thread to my attention, so, I feel I should dispell some rumours about what's going on with ET.

First, unlike most people, I give everyone a chance. If I feel they aren't suitable for the job, I get rid of them.

Second, I am so sick of these messages saying, 'HE SUCKS, SHE SUCKS, GET RID OF HIM/HER!!!" Give me a danged break. Don't you people have something better to do than to bash people? Seriously.

Third, I am a little annoyed by the fact that everyone feels that who I hire sucks. Well, I'd just LOVE to see you do a better job.

Fourth. I'm not sure if you guys know, but, I am the Events Team Founder. I have been with ET since its creation. Heck, I created it. I know whats best for it. I feel that if I hire 98374 people, and sit back and watch them, that I'll know who is good, and who is bad. That's why there are so many ET members. Not because I'm going recruit-happy, but because I feel that I should give everyone a shot and pick out the bad grapes.

Now, can everyone just please shush about this and give people a chance?

Do you get my point? You say you are making ET better yet you are hiring idiots that don't know how to run half of the events. Not to be rude, but I could care less if you founded it.. Just because you came up with the idea doesn't mean you know what is best for it. It's not like being a mother, it's just an idea for crying out loud.

You hire people based on their skill and knowledge first.. don't just hire everyone and anyone to see if they can do the job. That's like handing everyone a loaded gun and telling them to shoot an apple off your head.. Would you want to do that? I seriously doubt it.

Hi guys ^_^

I'm one of the new ET! I'm just learning the ropes so please go easy on me. I'm bound to make some mistakes at fist!

I just ran a few events not even two minutes ago, everyone seemed happy and I DO GIVE OUT PRIZES (before anyone complains heh, I know konidias was there)

Anyway, I'll try to make *my* events unique, different from most normal events! I'll add some twists here and there to keep them interesting and fresh.

I also prefer (when possible) to give away NPCs as prizes instead of money. Anyone can get money, but some NPCs are kinda rare (like hats). I gave away a bottle filled with spring water earlier, not that rare but it's still a nice prize!

I ran a survivor, it went pretty well considering I had to do it all by myself (and I had never ran a survivor before)

If you don't like my events just let me know, I'll try to improve. :)

As of this writing my ET power is gone and I don't know why... Well it was fun while it lasted... :(

I am cursed, I can never seem to keep a staff position for very long, no matter how well I do. I had RC for 1 day... and now I've had ET for 3 days... blah :-/
