Program that works with Lighting effects and fixes those nasty transparencies.

I found a sweet program that fixes transparencies and and makes the lighting effects not be supar laggy for my Voodoo 3dfx card. Its called GL Driver and its by (I think I am wrong) GLSetup Incorporated. I have it but the setup is quite large and I only have 56k =\. If anyone could find this program for graphics post here about it. I am sure lots of people would like the stuff it offers.

A much better albeit more expensive option is to buy a GeForce card

LordMax 09-03-2001 04:56 AM

How can you not have a graphics card?
I also have Voodoo 3, it doesn't lag anything, it jsut has many bugs such as not seeing the lighting effects.

ahhashashahahaha

if you didn't have a graphics card, then you would have no place to plug your monitor in, also, if you didn't have a graphics card, then your computer couldn't display anything

LordMax 09-03-2001 05:13 AM

Metal-Slug 09-03-2001 05:22 AM

stefan, instead of updating the entire build of graal for gl support, make drivers or updates for graal that give support for different cpus, i have had this idea forever

ok, the thing about people who have voodoo is that when the try to view light effects, it extremely lags the game and makes all these dots on the screen where the light effects should be, causing the game play to be bad =\

My friends who have voodoo cannot play Graal because their Graal.exe doesn't run fast enough to keep up with the rest of the other players.
They would be in one level for minutes at a time because they can't move at normal speed.

Graal is 100% Compatible with the Direct3D protocols.
Voodoo cards are not.
It's THEIR fault if their drivers are sucky, it's THEIR problem, bug THEM!:grrr:

Perhaps if 3DFX were still around, maybe this would be an option.
