You Have Been Disconnected From the Game Server Becaue You didn't Move.
 

Stefan should make an option on FTP, for the Owner of that p/w to decide if the player who dosn't move fo a time limit...
like say if you on G2k, and you want to talk on the communicator,
like i am now, you have to keep going to graal and moving because it disconnects you...

Wel, p/w's should have a choice to enable that feature, or not...

That was made so that people don't idle and gain AP/Online Time.

Why would you want a bunch of people just sitting around idling on graal? Makes no sense...

well, i think that ya should atelast have a half hour...
because people idling will just move then pause,
so wether its a hour or 1 minute, they will still do the same thing

It's mainly for kicking idle players,
like when you are disconnected from the
internet.

(the tcp connection often stays open so
the server doesn't detect that you are not
there anymore, but sees that you are not
doing anything; some months ago we
tested a 1-minute-idle time, but some people
who lag baldy have been disconnected too
so this was not so good, also people that
just go on toilet might let their Graal stay open
to get PMs)

Haha, no way. If people don't want to use Graal then they shouldn't be connected to the server. And if idlers have to move once per minute then they'll be less inclined to do so.

But i still would like to see the this option enabled on the FTP for the p/w to decide on....
or atleast the time limit....

i only leave my graal running if im going to be away for like 2 min
like if im going downstairs for something or to the toilet
but if im going to the store or to talk with someone ill disconnect
its only sense

Whats the point of staying connected to graal while you go to the store? How is it going to help you go to the store if graal is on?

To bring up another topic here
if you stay idle while logged onto a servers FTP you get diconnected after 600 seconds, this is annoying if your a guild admin or someone like that and you want FTP open without having to keep re-logging on, being logged onto FTP doesnt slow the server down in any way so i think you should be able to stay connected for alot longer than 10 minutes......
Although that is upto Unixmad i suppose
