Shaun: I recently recieved two strange emails, the message goes as follows:

Dear Graal,

Read this e-mail responsively. It may seem like spam at first, but that
is just an explanation to clear your confusion before your receive this
*gift*.

Purpose of this E-mail:

I am giving to you the chance of a life time! I have wrote up a partial
history of Graal! It is complete, but not entire (it could be much
larger and much more detailed, however, such details WILL wait for later
updates).

How I Got Your Address:
---------------------
I have scoured for hours all over the internet - searching message
boards, websites, registrations, accounts, posts, *everywhere* - searching
for thousands of e-mail addresses.

I have the largest Graal e-mail selection that exists. It will, sadly,
yet indeedly, grow much larger!

I would sell such a list to those who wish to buy it, however, I am not
a publicist. I do this for giving and helping - not propaganda and
annoyingness.

Consider yourself lucky - you have been struck by the WebFrog. I called

This e-mail is a once in a life time thing.

Attached to this e-mail is the current history of Graal in its
entirety.

I will absolutely NOT spam your e-mail box. The next time you MAY hear
from me will be in far in the future.. perhaps years.. perhaps never.

In the mean time, take and flee with this *.txt file (which includes my
written history of Graal).

Where you go and what you do with this history is up to you.

Should you have large e-mail listings for me, please send me them. I
will add them to my TXT archive and possibly give this archive to someone
at a later date... any new e-mails sent to me will not receive this
gift. This gift is only for those who are willing to let themselves known.

Yup, I got about 4-5 of em.
One is like 17k and it has a .txt.
It's about the history of Graal.
If you look at the many people who the person sent it to, you know that they were trying to e-mail all people with G2K1 e-mails.

Shaun: I never got a txt, they're 3 k and 4 k for me, and in the email thingys, mine is the only email that isn't @graalonline.com or @xonline.f2s.com , mine is @yahoo.ca and isn't listed here, most of my friends can't even get my email right.. It's kinda weird..

I got it to. Stupid thing :(

What the person probley did, was look in the forum listings and took all the people who had G2K1 e-mail addys, and sent one big e-mail to us all.
Cept the person sent me like 4-5 of the e-mails...O_O;;

i did. :\

I got it, I replied to the lady and told her to slit her throat.

That was totally un-called for...

Shaun: Too bad I don't use g2k1 email addys and my email address ( [email protected] ) isn't listed here... The only other people who the email was sent to (within the group of receives I was in) ended in @graalonline or @xonline.f2s.com , neither of which am I staff =\

I know but she harmed me by flooding my e-mail with useless things. She sent me like 50.

That is pretty reasonable...
Although you could have just blocked her e-mails, duh.

I know, but she had to have a response about slitting a throat because I already know the history of Graal, some high-school dropout programmed a game, it became big, the end.

Well she considered it a "gift", if you didn't read the e-mail over...
She was trying to be nice (I guess), by sending everyone possible the history of Graal.
You could have at least asked her to stop e-mailing you...

the unibomber called his bombs "gifts".

Santa Claus also calls his presents to little boys and girls "gifts".
I could call a bloody knife a present, although I'm not a sick person...
On second hand, I could give someone a chocolate cookie, which in my case would be a gift.

Im just saying, it could be trojanned somehow to steal your graal account.
