I'd like to get some opinions on this. I want to know if yall think the shading is ok or needs some more work.

What shading?
Either its too dark or the contrast on the white background makes it seem too dark but I can't see any shading without putting it in Paint and zooming in and stuff.
Well, I can see some shading, but the leaves should be more seperated rather then one huge clump.
Yeah.. and i dont like the idea of the wood, looks like your hiding mistakes.
Also add more tints and shades, maybe add a back leaf to. |
ok I'll work on it more
Edit:At first I had made it a lot darker and it looked like this. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ree-indoor.png But, after asking a friend what she thought, she said the leaves looked too dark. So, I made chages to what I previously posted. So does the the one I posted before or this one look better to you? |
its better.. still laking depth tho, try using a few more colors, make your lights lighter and darks a bit darker as well
Yeah, as lancelot said, more contrast.
kk
this one has given me hell because ive changed it so much all my colors blended the trunk actually looked round until i started taking the airbrush to it |
I'd just abandon ship on this one.
What's that?
im thinking about using the same shape and redoing all the coloring and shading
