Halloween Boxes - 2013 (Whatchu get?)
 

Title says it all, what have you guys gotten this year?

Here's my stats:

Box 1 - Belt of Corrosion
Box 2 - Necromancer Gauntlets
Box 3 - Necromancer Gauntlets
Box 4 - Necromancer Gauntlets
Box 5 - Helmet of Deceit
Box 6 - Demon Tail
Box 7 - Helmet of Deceit
Box 8 - Empty!
Box 9 - Necromancer Gauntlets
Box10 - Nightglade Boots
Box11 - Empty!

Assuming you're smart enough to only make the best boxes.
This would be 1815 of each colored pumpkin, or 5445 total.

Assuming each colored pumpkin was worth 1 silver coin, you would've been better off platting them out and spawning scrolls to get more than 9 tigs.

Demon Tail alone is worth 2-3 rows. Much different than 9 tigs, but then again Mr Worst EA ever wouldn't know that :cool:

Demon Tail has always been very highly overrated.

First off, it's common, common as corn. The thing comes out of every single type of box/basket/thing ever made. Then it is evented and raffled off even more-so on top of that.

Its benefits include:
-Some Resistances, most don't even work.
-Half a hit worth of health.

As opposed to other slot items such as a CoMP or BTail...

CoMP: Increases your overall armor class -- reducing damage from every single hit (effectively totaling more than 30hp during a fight) and allowing you to achieve max AC levels, making every PvE task a slice of pie. [It will cost maybe 2-3 tigs]

BTail: Dex, improving your poison endurance (lose less stats) and giving more gear opportunities. Speed, and as we all know the first +1 speed in any given slot adds the most overall speed. So this 1 vs 0 is a few whole .#'s. And luck for blessing. [Costs about a RoW now, is publically available through xmas/kvasir chests]

Hell, I'd rather rock some [free/1 tig] featherfolks for the .3 speed (dodge that 1 hit) than blow any significant amount of currency for a useless slot item such as DT.

That being said, I have all 4... and I've only equipped this DT once -- during a magic spar some time ago.

And for the record 5445 silver would only get you 108 plat, significantly short of the 920/960 required to buy a single EA/IWD/PW should you spawn one. It was a clear case of sarcasm, but then again Mr (lolasst) GPA wouldn't know that. :cool:
