GraalBible skin
1 Attachment(s)
I have noticed this strange problem with the GraalBible's default skin. It makes some navigation hard, and is quite annoying.
Attached is a screenshot from Safari, although, this has also happened to me in Konqueror when I was using Gentoo. Could something be done about this? I know that I can change the skin, but currently I can't even get to the Preferences panel, and this isn't very friendly for new novice users. |
I have the exact same problem. Except instead of describing navigation as hard, I'd call it impossible.

ah yes, the bane of webmasters ... cross-platform and cross-browser compatability. This is why I don't use <div> or layers on my web pages.
simple can be better. |

I guess that Konqueror and Safari have the same problem because they are both based on KHTML. I never had any problems with Opera or Firefox, though.
Also, CidNight1142, I have a terrible urge to copy your signature image and put a "WE WANT THEM NOW" stamp across it. ;) Edit: Just checked it using Internet Explorer 5.0 in Classic Environment, and there doesn't seem to be a problem. I guess KHTML doesn't like something, but whatever it is, can this be fixed? |
I don't have the problem on this computer but I do on my laptop mainly because this one is windows and... I never use my laptop.

I think we need to add/fix a css file which is used when displaying the page with the KHTML engine (Kondqueror, Safari), when googling for it I found some other people having problems with MediaWiki skins on Safari.
|
Usually I try not to revive threads, but will this get fixed?
|
If someone have idea on how to fix it, i will do it.
|
Well from what I read is that you need to change KHTMLfixes.css and change it to
column-content { margin-left: 12px; } There is a discussion at http://jasonpearce.com/blog/2005/10/...ns-by-castley/ but its huge. (Same problem with Konqueror on Linux) |
I haven't encountered this problem myself but how did it occur? What conditions were you running it under? I'll try to reproduce to see something really quick.
