Vista

So I try to install graal on vista and it freezes / not responding every time I load a server.

Is anyone planning on releasing a patch for this?

It's kind of odd that this is still a problem considering that Vista has been out for years...

I use Vista, and can get on Graal fine, just lots of lag.

I have vista on my downstairs computer and there is tons of lag...especially on a big screen monitor.

Ran fine on my older Vista installation and runs on my laptop apart from retarded slow downs you'd expect them to fix already (although Windows 7 basically fixed it for them, yippy).

I run vista ultimate and experience no lag, I only have 1GB of RAM too.

You could try changing the compatibility mode in the executable properties.

I use Graal on Vista from time to time and have no problems whatsoever with lag or anything.

Seems that people report the mysterious lag problems being fixed with Windows 7, though.

I have vista and graal everything works fine... no lag at all..
Might be because my computer is godly.

I've tried changing the compatibility mode, and I've even tried to run it under an XP virtualbox and it's still freezing.

btw my computer is good quality... 2.6ghz, 4gb ram

Well for whatever reason the game seems to have stopped freezing.

Are any interesting servers being developed that I might contribute to?

Do you primarily do graphics, script, or make levels?

Craigus 07-10-2009 08:54 PM

I used to lag on graal when i got vista it was basically unplayable for me on gmaps but when i switched to the beta client all the lag went away.

Graphics.

I could probably get into gs2 given a little bit of time, since I do a lot of programming in my work, but I've never had the opportunity to look into it.
