I just now saw all the teaser news updates on the mobile servers. Firstly I'd like to say it's pretty nice art, good job to whoever made it. I'm assuming the wireframe segments of the characters are implying the 3D nature of the new engine?

It's not really a big deal at face value but there hasn't been a peep on the Community or PlayerWorlds pages for the 2nd year running. We're supposed to believe they're planning to support this place going forward?

This effort reminds me of Hillary's campaign.


On a serious note, the only way 3D Graal would make sense is if you took Zelda OOT, created a sketchy scripting engine to poorly emulate the way movement is handled in that game, and get a weird german guy with the world's strangest art style to recreate about 60% of the assets freehand in MSPAINT before giving up when it's time to make cave interiors, etc. Then you get players to pay monthly subscription to make the game for you using a sketchy level editor that will never be updated in 20 years. When they finally get done, and you realize the game they made is actually amazing, destroy it and make a new server yourself called GRAAL3D-2, and make it extra boring while the good server everyone loved dies with no support and remains vaporware for a few decades.

To be fair, I have the game and it looks awesome in 3D on an actual 3DS screen where it isn't stretched out 400% lol

Someone posted a similar thread on Graalians, and someone pointed out the 3D level that's blurred in the background, presumably Era 3D. I can't believe I didn't notice this or anyone else here o.o


Also what's the affair between Crono and Shurikan. There's no way he did not draw that pluffy on the classic character's sword charm chain thingy with no intention of referencing Crono xD
